'7'
Because I'm sorry, this is not the 1976 canadiens. The kings are not a fvcking 15-2 team! It's once thing to be good (they are) but to be good and get every single fvcking bounce known to man is obscene. We're not losing every game 6-1 and being outshot 50-20 here. Two 2-1 OT wins and one 4-0 win where your first goal is fvcking BS piece of sh!t where the puck is literally frozen under Brodeur(hey hack away, why not!)? I mean seriously...CAN THEIR fvckING LUCK RUN OUT!?!?!?! THIS IS NOT A 15-2 TEAM. IS QUICK PATRICK ROY ALL OF A SUDDEN? Even today...we were up 6-0 on powerplays because we outplayed them...but as usual every bounce goes the kings way. Some devils fans are saying this is 1995 in reverse. BULL-fvckING-sh!t. The series is even when it comes to actual on ice play and scoring chances, maybe even slightly advantage devils. The kings haven't come close to dominating and it's a fvcking joke this is 3-0. Can somebody please bring LA back to earth. I think the 8 seed is due for a nice 4 game losing streak.
DevilNurn
Winning the two games in overtime was lucky, but this game was no mistake. The Kings absolutely flat out dominated tonight, played perfect D, perfect PK, perfect offense, anticipated our moves, and knockout goaltending. This was no mistake. MadDog2020
'7', thank you for posting this and saving me the trouble. It's absolutely fvcking ridiculous, and you're absolutely right. You'd think it would turn around, but it doesn't look like it will at this point.
CarpathianForest
Quick is really good. Their team is fast and big. But I don't attribute their SCF record against us due to their talent. Half of our roster is battered and bruised. The Kings went through everyone with little to no trouble. It's like the 05-06 SCF: The Canes didn't beat the Sabres because they were the better club. Half the Sabres roster was hurt and the other half was injured. The Kings our taking advantage of our injuries and sluggishness.

In what aspect of the game? Not in scoring chances, not in physical play, not in drawing powerplays? All I know is they got a BS 1st goal and scored on there two powerplays. The devils got the first 6 powerplays for a reason...they outplayed LA and LA was undisciplined and sloppy
'7'
kings get no scoring chances for 7-8 minutes...then a rush...then a kopitar goal. We put pressure on relentlessly...quick makes a save...is looking into outer space and carter shoots it off his glove. That's not "good" that's luck. The devils got the first 6 powerplays for a reason...they outplayed LA and LA was undisciplined and sloppy If you watched when the Devils had a puck and put it into an area where they were anticipating a player (this happened a lot, our puck carrying was bad), the Kings were ALWAYS there. They had the vision. And if they didn't beat us there they outmuscled whoever got there. It's why we stopped getting quality scoring chances after the first. All the scoring chances we got were from far out or with good defensive positioning. Their top line outproduced the crap out of our first line, especially when both were on the ice. And I would definitely call LA's play anything but undisciplined. I'm not saying the Devils should've been shut out, but it's not like the Kings stole this out from under us. They only dominated on the score board. It's pretty unlucky that we are down 3-0 with the way the two teams have played. But, what can you do? I guess it's just the Kings' year. You don't go undefeated on the road in the playoffs on skill alone, it's just not possible in this league right now. The Kings have played well and gotten tons of bounces and luck their way. Amberite
Unfortunately, there really isn't much you can do when the opposing team literally has everything in the hockey world going their way, including injuries. Is it ridiculous? Absolutely. But the sad thing is that it may be too late for us to wait it out.

The Kings were lucky to go 2-0 in New Jersey, very lucky (although we had a ton of chances we didn't make the most of there - clearly we couldn't solve Quick). Tonight we go 0/6 or 0/7 on the PP, their defense makes the Devils attackers hate life and so does Quick. Plus their offense, which was the weak link in games 1 and 2, clicks and owns us in the 2nd and 3rd. The score of the whole series suggests the Devils got dominated over the course of it and that's simply not true. Tonight, however, was a very smart and solid game by LA all around, you have to be blind not to see that. The better team won.

elias2600
It's not too late. 4 wins are required for a KO. Last I checked, they don't have that many.
NJDevs4978
This is no eight seed, they're like 30-10 since getting Carter, who really has been the missing piece for them. The only satisfaction it looks like we're getting from this series is seeing Philly fans squirm watching Richards/Carter lift the Cup after being exiled. Revan
the game on the ice was fairly even. Not really. We had a good first period (if you ignore all the missed opportunities on the powerplay) and the problem was the lack of finish, probably shooting too low on Quick. But the moment Kings scored, the Devils lost their heads and they didn't really know what to do with the puck. They spent time in the Kings zone, they threw something at the net, but there was chaos and no concept. From then on the Kings would get more and more dominating. I think they'll celebrate the way Boston fans celebrated when Borque won at our expense, just to make themselves feel better about losing to the Devils. They're fvckbags like that. DaneykoIsGod
If the Kings close it out, Quick should be the only name engraved on the Cup. The rest of the team has been outplayed by the Devils. But the Kings haven't closed it out yet. The hockey gods owe us at least three wins worth of bounces.

Yeah let them celebrate their moron GM dumping both like hot trash, and losing in five games of the second round because they let a 37-year old fvckbag run the locker room, and then he gets taken out probably for good after two months.
