Jas0nMacIsaac
There are so many skilled forwards in Russia it isn't fit. You could fill all the Devils holes from there easily.
Devilsfan118
There are so many skilled forwards in Russia it isn't fit. You could fill all the Devils holes from there easily. So here's a dumb question, why don't the Devils (or any other NHL team for that matter) just go pick off some of the lesser-known players from the KHL? I'm going to guess contractual obligations prevent this type of situation from occuring
Chuck the Duck
A few years ago both leagues entered into an agreement not to poach players that are under contract. The Radulov situation is what sent it over the edge. That's why the players like Ovechkin can cry all they want, but if they want to play hockey after the lockout, their only choice will be to play in the NHL as, if the KHL allows them top continue playing there once the NHL re-starts, the IIHF can take action against the Russian hockey federation for violating this international agreement and, potentially, bar the Russian national team from participating in International Competitions they sponsor, such as the Olympics. Derlique
Apparently Kovy's goal was higlight-reel worthy. Anyone have a replay?

Chuck the Duck
"Kovalchuuuuoooooooooooo" Anyone else get the feeling that watching a current video of a crowd reaction in Russia is exactly the same as the old newsreel video of crowds reacting to a Babe Ruth home run from 1927?
