Then I remembered the Lions were playing the Bears so then I was WTF lol I didn't even realize Clausen was still in the league much less on Chicago. Harbaugh wont be coaching in SF next year. The only questions are where does he want to coach and whether the 9ers will pay him to sit at home for a year. 6/48 is very appealing money, and i think Jim H will take it if be cant find a coach/GM/"Lord of all things oblong" gig in the NFL. You were the one that pointed out how Cutler wasn't moveable cap wise till 2016. If anything it's probably Trestman saying **** this since HE'S probably out the door at seasons end. It's STILL a lot of dead money on their cap, but the Bears do look about ready to tear it down and start over....Forte is a FA too (I think)....or maybe they do something funky like... Cutler to Buffalo for EJ and a 2nd pick....and maybe get McNown back from Tampa for a mid-round pick and take a swing that way until they can start a rebuild....it's a reach and a way to get QBs in their system and not be buried by all the dead money Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
