'7'
How did Halak save that??? because when the Devils have a sh!tout god descends from the heavens and literally makes sure they lose
Devilsfan118
Why do I get emotionally invested in these talent shows anymore.Seriously. I ask myself this after every game. I almost wish they'd just get blown out 3-0. At least then it'd be easier to take. They keep it just fvcking close enough to break your heart. KK deserved better than this. Mike Brown
I don't blame Pete tonight. He made the right choices in the shootout tonight. Oh well.
Bonginator11
To be fair Seversons attempt 99 times out of a 100 Halak won't make that stop. I still don't know how he saved it

NJDevils1214
Just so tired of these kinds of losses. Really wanted them to win this one for Kinkaid, especially after that PK in OT

I still don't know how he saved it how often does a team go like 1-22 in their last 23 shootouts Halak makes that save 100 out of 100 times against the Devils. He doesn't save it against any other team. The reason he made the save is because the Devils are shooting

DevsMan84
I don't blame Pete tonight. He made the right choices in the shootout tonight. Oh well. People on Facebook are all up in arms that he went with 2 d-men. Then again if he went with the usual players then they would be up in arms for not being more creative and using other players. Pete can't win with that crowd. I think pete made as best choices as he could. I do think that last SO goal by kinkaid was weak sauce though. DevilMinder
I am liking Kinkaid more and more, hes got poise and belongs in the NHL.
NJDevils11274
Sestito shooting that puck into the goalie's logo is exactly why he is a career AHLer. Neb00rs. Zubie#8
Perfect shootout selections IMO. Not Deboers fault this team has no talent and no luck.

Mike Brown
Good effort, unfortunate result. Taares should have gotten 5 minutes on that spear. Moving on to Ottawa. All 4 games on this home stand are winnable. Ottawa is bad. Tampa is struggling. Washington is up and down. Carolina is bad. Anything less than 6 points on this home stand would be a failure. Remember what happened last year when you said games were "winnable"? I think they will beat carolina and outside chance of Ottawa. No chance at Washington or Tampa. NJDevs4978
Why do I get emotionally invested in these talent shows anymore. All my hope got sucked out last week when they got dominated in Carolina, Philly and Dallas. Not exactly a murderer's row of teams dominating us. Of course we picked it up today cause we were playing a good team and a rival, now watch us lose 4-2 to Ottawa on Wednesday. Whatever Deboer is at the point with some fans that they have absolutely no clue what they want him to do. He went with Severson. Severson had a nice move and Dominik Hasek flew into Halek's body for the save. He's picked everyone else on the roster besides the 4th line dreck. Also, shame on you for reading the Devils FB group. I know what I get there and sometimes things get a little dry here to say the least. I can only take so much non-stop line speculation and prospect threads. The groups are pretty good for off-ice discussion but a train wreck for on-ice discussion But yeah I can't get on deboer either with trying something new. I mean did they really expect gim to try jagr who has historically been terrible at shootouts?

mfitz804
I am so sick of Jacob Josefson. I know it's not his fault but as soon as I saw him coming out for the shootout, I knew it was game over. He never connects.
