14 Nathan Perkovich

15 Patrick Davis

29 Kevin Cormier

Defencemen

2 Jay Leach

5 Rob Davison

7 Tyler Eckford

8 Matthew Corrente

20 Matt Taormina

26 Olivier Magnan

32 Matt Cohen

Goalies

1 Mike McKenna

31 Jeff Frazee

39 Gerald Coleman

===================================================

Based on that here's a guess as to who's on the T-Devils camp roster - at least these are the guys that were in Lowells camp or signing was announced:

Forwards

Poli

Prough

Zancanaro

Kucharski

Stoesz

Kell

Vokes

Bartlett

Eves

Defense

Torti

Leaderer

Murray

Pender

Goalie

Caruso

Lowell will get Fraser back on defense if he wakes up from the Carcillo beating, he can't be sent down while seeing stars. Big club probably will have to shed at least one forward probably two in the next two weeks as well. If Frazee does gets back to the ice as scheduled in a week, we should be fine in goal.

Who comes down in goal once Frazee's back- McKenna? I wonder if Clarkson's brother Doug ends up in Trenton. And of course- T Harrison? He was in camp with Rochester but was cut.

Clarksons brother headed off to college a week or two into the big camp. They had no interest in re-signing Tommy so he's now in Wheeling's camp. Not sure, I would lean towards Coleman being the odd man out with McKenna having a cup of coffee in the NHL last year - with TB as Coleman did a few years back. Not sure either of them would be thrilled but moreso Coleman when he signed McKenna wasn't in the picture. Either way it's a benefit to us as long as one of them doesn't bailout.

Huh. Do I have this right, then? [Edit: and if so, somebody bump Ashmore and see if he'll post something? Not that the T-Devils have anything on their site yet...]

I think you're right on, good point about Caruso haven't seen anything "official" which means very little in this league. Harder is the guy that's been around forever mostly overseas the last 6-7 years with the exception of Charlotte in 04-05. I'm guessing he's going to try and fill the leadership void left by Henkel.

OK, so what's the deal on Jon House? I can't find any antecedents on him, and "Elite Prospects" has him listed as Reading Royals property, not T-Devils. Is he with the Royals?

not sure, he's in our camp though, I assume he's camp fodder being nobody has been able to find anything on him.

Geez, is Ashmore still around to pump the front office for stories? Or has he found a day job and we'll *never* know what's going on down there? Black Hole of Trenton, eh?

BTW, since I was digging for links and info, I'll share: Ryan Gunderson's with AHL Houston and Dylan Quaile with U of PEI. And Harrison isn't in Rochester anymore.

Mike was still covering the Atlantic League baseball championship series this past weekend and is also covering at least one of the Yankee games - hopefully more. He been getting a little of a hockey fix, pretty sure he went to one of the Devils pre-season games and last nights Rangers game. Not sure what his plans are with the T-Devils.

Harrison is in Wheelings camp guess we traded his rights for who knows what if anything.

What happened to Poli?

Bag of pucks? warm body? or helpful? and who went the other way?

No sign of anybody going the other way yet. The kid had real good numbers at Princeton and at this point any sign of life on the offensive side of the puck would be a good thing. They will have to cut a body to add him or put another on the 21 day IR. Actually 2 will have to go if we add a goalie that's not a ebug. I think that's how they were able to add Cohen by releasing a contracted goalie and going with Felice.

Not sure why we need all these defensemen unless Torti who was a scratch last game and Pender (not sure he returned after his fight) are hurt now too.

Hey, maybe Kowalsky thinks the guys are out of shape and prone to injury. Or maybe he wants to check them out and will keep the best of the litter, and use the others to repay those outstanding trades he had to call in last year. Anyway, you'll need the bodies, remember playing 2 guys short last year?? You should rejoice that they have a couple of guys on reserve, so they don't have to pull a fan out of the stands :whistling:

But yes, the revolving door is probably going to be turning soon. Pandolfo and Martin will be gone for a (relatively) long time, Mottau's gonna be day-to-day and an easy target, Fraser's an uncertain commodity (even if I think he "walks on water" and will do OK as long as that head injury is really all healed up) and also an easy target, the rookie forwards can't do 20 minutes a game yet, and we don't know what else is in the works. Could be Lou's planning to shuffle the decks to hire help.

Just to cheer you up, Cohen will be back in Low Hell soon, along with anybody else youse have who can skate backwards without tripping over their laces. Although they keep announcing Greg Flynn as a healthy scratch, he was not at the petting zoo* Sunday and I have no idea whether he's ready for his first AHL game or just hanging out while he waits for his USAF marching orders. Of course Robitaille wasn't there either, maybe Lou's calling him up to take Pandolfo's place but saving it for a surprise. ;)

Ya know, I really, really, really wish the AHL (or ECHL) would get rid of that farkin' Instigator rule, just for a year, so the NHL can see if it really does all the good they keep telling us it does. It would cut down on the headhunting and it would make the dirty teams pay for targeting specific players just to take them out...

In the meantime, it probably makes sense to stock the pond. It's a great smokescreen, and really, borderline ECHLers don't cost a whole lot to feed. BTW, do they actually have to house the T-Devils across the river just to keep them safe? :uni:

-----

* OK, so the official designation is Team Autograph Session, but there were actually some starry-eyed young bunnies drooling over those amazingly good-looking guys, eh? Never mind the rats and rabbits, and I'm sure there are worse words...

Lord Lou told TG he wasn't going to bring up any forwards from Lowell. Guess we'll see what happens with Cohen. But for now this move can only help if he pitches a shutout on most nights. Still a very welcomed addition.

10/27/2009 Gerald Coleman (G) Lowell DEL Loaned to Trenton (ECHL)

Trenton:

Add Gerald Coleman, G assigned by Lowell (AHL)

Delete John Wessbecker, D placed on the 7-day IR
