  1. I worked for them for 15 years, but it got bought out by a rival company who are a bunch of low life scum. I would complain to the Devils front office. They also own University Sports Publications
  2. Who is the publisher of the program? Is it Professional Sports Publications (PSP)? If so, I used to work for them...
  3. Soft for Marty, even he said in an interview that it was a little soft.

    Breakaways

I might be wrong on this... NHL Net (TV) broke down the play yesterday and showed that Kopitar actually intended to lift the puck but partially fanned on it. His stick skimmed the top of the puck and it slid in. I stand corrected... If Kopitar did lift the puck as he intended to, it could had been a repeat of this save... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fmjw9qDJS8
  5. Nice Job, At least the music you picked was better than the Kings version.

    Breakaways

Marty lifted his right leg well before Kopitar shot the puck.Look at the 1:09 point of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DNukZ9sVBY It would had been an amazing save if Marty blindly waited a split second longer to left the leg to bait Kopitar to lift the puck and have it go off his pad. Not to be this time, but Kopitar appears to be adept at creating breakaway chances for himself. I am sure Marty will adjust. I don't believe Kopitar when he said he flashed back from years ago the last time he face Marty and decided what to do on the fly.I am sure Kopitar had this planned out shortly after he found out the Devil's made the SCF. He probably even practiced the move several times before the game. It is a little harder for Marty to study 12 Kings forwards, identify the player coming at him, and remember on the fly what he is going to do.

    Breakaways

Hypotetical Question: If you gave Kopitar 10 idential chances against Marty as the overtime goal last night, and gave both players the option to mix up the strategy on each try, how many do you think Marty would stop? Put Quick in goal, how many would he stop?
  8. I didn't mean to say it was bad, but goalies have been known to stop breakaways/penalty shots from talent even better than Kopitar from time to time. Cory Schneider stopped Kopitar on a clean breakaway in round 1 with a little help from the clock. If you gave Kopitar 10 clean breakaways/penalty shots against Marty, I can almost assure you that Marty would stop at least one of them, probably more. He didn't stop the one that would had kept us in the game last night... Which goes back to the original question, who played better last night, Marty or Quick? If you pushed me for an answer, I would say Quick because he did a better job keeping the puck out of the net and won the game.
  9. I don't know how you can compareMarty made some great saves, but he let in a soft goal and was beaten on a breakaway. Quick also made some great saves, got beaten on a fluke goal that bounced off of his own deference man, and got bailed out twice by the inability of the Devils to shoot a puck into an open net, and bailed out again by Parise using his glove instead of a stick to score. If you want to make a comparison between Marty and Quick go here: Marty = Automatic entry into the Hall of Fame as soon as he is eligible. Quick = Needs 20 more seasons like this one, and a few Cups to even be considered.
