TravisZajac
Who? Just messing around, I'll have to look up some info on the guy later.
devilsrule33
I'm with TZ in hoping Fran Dancevic can do some damage. There was another Canadian in the tournament...well he has Canadian and American citizenship, but plays as an American named Jesse Levine. He was born in Ottawa and I used to go to school with him and we had some mutal friends. I believe he was making his grand slam debut and got killed by 4th rank Nikolay Davydenko, 6-4 6-0 6-1. thefiestygoat
Well my bad luck continues. Hantuchova lost today and now two of my favorite players are out. As long as Sharapova wins this I will be happy and all the pain will be gone. Another positive is I think I found another player I will like to follow, Mathilde Johansson. Of course she lost but it was against Hingis and I really liked how hard she played. Day 2 Results - August 28, 2007 Men's Singles - First Round Novak Djokovic (3) def. thefiestygoat
Nadal is fighting off two nasty knee injuries and really struggled today. I actually thought Jones would be able to upset him if Nadal's knees got any worse. I don't think Nadal will make it past the quaters in this tournemant. thefiestygoat
That Radek Stepanek - Novak Djokovic match was amazing, going into a fifth set tie breaker where Djokovic won. One of the best matches I have ever seen.
Derek21
Aw Fish just lost. That's disappointing because he actually had a chance to do something in his section. Oh well. I didn't see the Djokovic match but wow. That must've been great if they were all like that final point. Anyone see the Blake-Santoro match last night? That was a lot of fun to watch. Santoro has every shot in the book and every trick as well. It was nice to see Blake pull out a five setter. He needed it for his confidence. Also great sportsmanship. thefiestygoat
Radwanska just defeated Sharapova and that entire part of the bracket is open. There is no clear cut favorite and we should see a new faces in the quarterfinals.
devilsrule33
Derek, I know you love tennis and trust me, if you can watch a replay of the Djokovic match, it is a must! It was non-stop action, with great play, and the sportsmanship by both players made it very enjoyable.
thefiestygoat
Peer just defeated Vaidisova in what has been the best woman's match of the tournemant. It went to a gripping third set tie break. Sucks for me because I wanted Vaidisova to win. It seems all the people I want to win so far just lose. LA03
I know Federer is amazing and all, but listening to Agassi's commentating was getting really annoying. All he kept talking about was how great Federer is and then he would go off on tangents and talk about himself. I was sad to see Roddick lose, but I mostly expected it. He did put up one hell of an effort though and he should be proud of that.
