lucifer91
The problem with this thread is some of the players just aren't realistic. Gallagher for example signed a extension with the Habs. Galchenyuk got a bridge deal. At some point, I'd imagine Shero will use his D assets to acquire a forward. Gelinas or Merrill are the best candidates. They're not going to trade Larsson or Severson. And Greene is signed long-term. So it won't be him. Interestingly, Kucherov remains unsigned with Tampa who has little cap space. I know it's frowned upon but if I had the space, I'd look into offer sheeting him. He's a very skilled player and is only 22. The Bolts might have a problem. For some reason I thought he was an RFA next year?
RizzMB30
Per League rules or just for luring FAs? I imagine its more understandable for an RFA to trade them a bit after resigning them as they have little options either way. Yeah, I think you may be right in regards of RFA's just being more trade-able, especially after a recent signing. But think about it....yes, you do own that player, but imagine how pissed a player(RFA or not) would be if you signed him to a new deal just to trade him 2 months later before the season begins. vadvlfan
i know he's not a stud, but Lee Spepniak would put up a few points for sure. Righty, plays hard.
