I was wondering if there was a policy somewhere about photography and camera's at the arena? I remember security checking with their bosses whether certain lenses were small enough to be brought in. I don't have anything big but was wondering what the minimum was?

I have been able to sneak my 80-400mm lens in, along with the contents of my school bag. Of course, maybe they will be stricter this year, who knows, and I don't know what the minimum is, but you definitely have a shot at getting your lens in, I would say.

The last I remember it was no "professional" lenses. It doesn't define what "professional" means. I take it to mean anything longer than 300mm. I can see one have a really tough time getting in with a Nikon 70-200 F 2.8. (I used Nikon because those are the lenses I'm familiar with.) Yankee Stadium has a no video camera policy, even though most DSLR's nowadays have video capability they'll allow them in. They didn't even look at my 70-300 lens.

I'm sure "small and non-professional lenses" is written purposely vague. This is probably done so they can really tell you whatever they want that night and not have anybody go "HA! It says I can do this!". They also are probably a little less strict when it's not a big game, as compared to them maybe being stricter on a more important night, i.e. Marty hitting 500 wins a couple years ago or maybe the Nieds retirement night this year.
