This game does have 'trap' or 'letdown' game all over it after two big wins over the Rangers and Penguins.

Lets hope that does not happen and the Devils keep the foot on the pedal and win their 3rd game in a row, which has not happened since December before Christmas. Devils have to be ready for this game tonight.

Just WIN Devils! just WIN!!!

LETS GO DEVILS!!!

Well some of you got your wish. Yann Danis will start in goal tonight for the Devils. TG reports...

Yann Danis to start in net tonight for Devils vs. Islanders; no other lineup changes.

Devils backup goaltender Yann Danis will get the start in net for the Devils tonight against the New York Islanders at Nassau Coliseum.

Danis, the former Islander, has not started since a 3-0 loss in Toronto on Feb. 2. That was his only start in the last 45 games since Nov. 21. Danis made 23 saves in a 2-1 win over the Islanders on Nov. 6 at Prudential Center, but Brodeur started the Devils’ other three games against the Islanders this season.

Devils coach Jacques Lemaire said there will be no other lineup changes from Friday’s game against Pittsburgh, meaning defenseman Mark Fraser and forwards Vladimir Zharkov, Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond and Andrew Peters will be the healthy scratches again.

When asked why Danis would get the start tonight, Lemaire replied, “Every time you asked me why Yann is not playing. Now he’s playing and you want to know why he’s playing,”

Brodeur had started 11 in a row for the Devils, including all five of their games since the Olympic break.

“It’s three games in four nights,” Lemaire said. “We played last night and Marty had a pretty big game last night.”

This is a no brainer.

Isles loss=higher draft pick

Devils win=push out Pissburgh

Quite frankly as an Islander-Devil fan, it's never been so easy to decide as it is tonight.

:gd:

How does one become an "Islander-Devil fan"?

Looks like I will be watching the non HD Devils feed instead of the Isles HD one....
