When I was in school, I wish I had the guts to walk out of the classroom if the teacher asked me to leave if I was boring her. Larionov is the inspiration to kids who just can't help staring out the window when the teacher drones on about the importance of the Louisiana Purchase. Igor, I salute you. It's too late for me, but hopefully it's not late for the oppressed children in our schools who stab themselves with a compass to make it through history class awake and alert.

I think the real question to ask is, was there anyone is in Devils history that got paid 1 million or more (larionov makes 1 million/year) that played as "terrible" as igor?

Not sure what his salary was but Valeri Kamensky jumps to mind. If I remember right, he signed a 4 year deal with the rangers for like 15-20 million, something stupid like that. I know we got him from Dallas, but I don't remember how much of his salary we ate.

Nice names for Igor, guys :D:D:D

I can rarely see the Devils play, but is Igor really that bad?

He had a great career so far. And now is nothing left of his skills? Can't belive it.

Let's compare Igor to the other centers...

2003-2004 - Regular Season - New Jersey Devils - Center - Summary - TOTAL POINTS

1. Patrik Elias - 17 Goals, 21 Assists. 48 Games Played. +10

2.Scott Gomez - 5 Goals, 22 Assists. 46 Games Played. -1

3.Sergei Brylin - 8 Goals, 13 Assists. 48 Games Played. +11

4.John Madden - 7 Goals, 12 Assists. 46 Games Played. +4

5.Igor Larionov - 0 Goals, 10 Assists. 36 Games Played. +3

6.Erik Rasmussen - 2 Goals, 4 Assists. 42 Games Played. +2

7.Craig Darby - 0 Goals, 0 Assists. 2 Games Played. -1

Now Lets Look At Salaries

1.Patrik Elias - $4,722,249.09

2.John Madden - $2,000,000.00

3.Sergei Brylin - $1,550,000.00

4.Scott Gomez - $1,000,000.00

5.Igor Larionov - $1,000,000.00

6.Erik Rasmussen - $600,000.00

Oh never be BORED though! Be disruptive! I got kicked out of class for breaking in my tap shoes! WOW did Ms Swanson HATE me!

See never CHOOSE to leave something - then you're not giving it your all! Always aim to be kicked out or fired or whatever! Indifferent is such an awful thing to be.. such a depressing way to go through life! My poor child.. my poor husband with me doling out advise like this... :saddevil:
