DH26
Needed to sign goal scoring and ugly terms are usually what it takes in FA. When Benoit Pouliot's gettng 5x$4m, this isn't terrible

dmann422
I can see him being worthwhile now but five years down the road is a bit scary.
coldply123
There's your first line winger. Devils probably had to outbid the Pens and Ducks by adding years.

caron14
I love him as a player. I dont love the extra year, But i will live with it. He is a natural goal scorer. And a guy who shows up every night. With a possession team Cammy will score a lot of goals i tell you.
Neb00rs
Welcome to the world of non-playoff teams where you have to go a bit out of your way to get a decent FA.

Pretty much just unfortunate Cammy is what we ended up with. I would love for this deal to work out but this has nightmare written all over it. HOLLYWOOD
AND... the "Assisted Living Home on Ice" continues in Newark. Yet another long contract for a old guy. My friend didn't renew his season tickets this year... proves he was correct.
NewarkDevil5
I'm not sold on this deal at all, but I'm going to ask the other question here: What number will he wear? He's only ever worn #13 and #93 and I'm not entirely certain he's of a high enough stature to keep #93 on this team and Lou has never given out #13 before. DJ Eco
What the hell did you guys expect the terms to be? It's 45 minutes into free agency season and we've missed the playoffs 2 years in a row.

Triumph
Cammalleri at 5M a year isn't bad - to me it beats whatever Vanek gets unless he gives Minnesota a hometown discount, and I didn't want Moulson really at any price (I imagine Moulson will get 4/18 somewhere). He's a solid fit with Zajac and Jagr but could also work with Elias. That 5th year will be ugly and probably bought out but hey, that is life in free agency.
