  1. I see what you did there. 👌🏻
  2. That's probably the what they're going for.....a waiting list.
  3. I'll be rooting for the Bolts because of where I live. Teams I don't want to see win are the Rags for obvious reasons, any Canadian team because I think it's hilarious that they haven't won in 30 years, nor the Canes and Avs because I hate them for beating us a few times over the years in important situations. Other than that, I just want to see good and entertaining hockey. I suppose Ovi getting a second Cup would be cool, he deserves it. Nashville winning might be cool too, that city would go bananas. I think Dallas has a legitimate shot. They're absolutely stacked, top to bottom.
  4. I think of it a little bit differently. I remember going to games as a kid, not necessarily wearing opposing team gear, but definitely not rooting for the home team, and if I ever got certain giveaways or promo items I always liked it because it helped me become interested in and learn more about other teams and players around the league. Some of that stuff really helped me become the die hard hockey fan I am today. If you're paying to go to the game, and on top of that you show up early enough to be part of the first 10k fans or whatever it is, I see no reason why you shouldn't get to participate and receive the giveaway item.
  5. I don't understand, so people sitting in the club level can't wear Panthers jerseys/colors? I don't agree with the policy and think it's dumb, but I thought a lot of teams were already doing it? Aren't there a bunch of people on this forum who like the idea and complained about the need for a specific section for away fans?
  6. Regarding the Devils - Anything can happen and you never know what can take place if you just make the playoffs (look at Florida last year), but I agree with you - the season ended with us having a record that is pretty indicative of how the team performed and what they were capable of. Bad defense, bad coaching, bad goaltending, injuries, young rookies getting more playing time than they should, poor PP, poor home record, etc. there's reasons for each of those things, but when you have all those collectively, generally you're not going to make the playoffs. Regarding other teams, I'm ecstatic and think it's absolutely hilarious that the Flyers were over achieving much of the year and looked like they were going to make the playoffs, and absolutely crashed and burned the final 15 games of the season. I know they weren't expected to do much at the beginning of the year, but their collapse can't go unnoticed by the GM and owners.
  7. Agreed. Think about when you apply for a job - occasionally you might get a message back that HR, or whoever, screened your resume and you weren't accepted; but 9 times out of 10 you don't find out that you weren't chosen for the position until they actually make their decision and hire someone else and the position is removed from job boards.
  8. Smith also played that terribly. Not that that's any surprise.
  9. Luke too. I've been hard on him, but I'll give him that credit. Durability is big in my book. Hey....there are the two on ones we saw all season! Been a little while.
  10. We're really wearing these stupid fvcking jerseys on our last game of the season? I'm not one to say this organization is "awful" or "cursed' or some of the other doom and gloom things people say because I'll die rooting for and defending the team, but my God sometimes they make it hard or impossible. What a symbolic way to end the season - ugly jerseys for 81 games of mostly ugly performances.
  11. Yeah, that's the part I don't really get. Is it simply because it's somewhat close? Otherwise, seems to me Houston or even Quebec would make sense. Hell, maybe even Hartford or Atlanta lol.
  12. Reactivate means they'd keep the team in Utah and then expand and have a 33rd team in AZ? I hate that idea. League is arguably too big already, to me 30 was good, 32 is alright. Anything beyond that is too many.
  13. But all of the light green bars for "offense above average" are at zero or lower, aka the negative part of the graph.... So that means everyone had below avg or poor performance when it comes to offense? I guess that makes sense since we were shut out, but just seems a little weird still.
  14. I don't get how to read that chart. Both the purple and green lines say above average...... For offense and defense......So everyone's performance was above average?!
