It was a suicide pass into the slot in his own end. You learn in pee wee not to make that pass. The fact that an "NHL" player made that decision is astounding. He didn't even look he just threw it out of his way like it was a grenade and it has nothing to do with covering for a defenseman. I counted at least 3 times Zajac picked up a puck in his own zone on a defensive breakdown and he didn't heave it out blindly. It's about being aware of what you're doing with the puck in all zones in all situations and Tedenby didn't do that which is why he's in the doghouse among other things. It was fvcking awful and irresponsible. He just threw the puck into the fvcking slot, that's not a breakout, it's a potential centering pass. They're lucky he realized it enough to chip it. dmann422 Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 The problem with Harold is that the sole reason he is in there is because the coaches have some perceived notion that he is good offensively. When in fact he constantly breaks up the offensive rhythm by mishandling passes and losing the zone. That's not to mention many bad breakout and neutral zone passes and turnovers. He only thing he has on Larsson is speed. Which isn't enough of an advantage to warrant him to play.
