  1. Sad yet: "Robert A. "Bob" Iger (born February 10, 1951) is the head of The Walt Disney Company. He was the president of Capital Cities/ABC from 1994-1999, has been the president of the Walt Disney Company since January 2000 and CEO since October 2005." Disney CEO received $51.1M in compensation in 2008. "Madoff's mother tangled with the feds The late Sylvia Madoff was registered as a broker-dealer in the 1960s but left the business after being cited for failing to file reports." ... "Robert Edward Rubin (born August 29, 1938) served as the 70th United States Secretary of the Treasury during both the first and second Clinton administrations. Before his government service, he spent 26 years at Goldman Sachs. His most prominent post-government role was as Director and Senior Counselor of Citigroup, where he performed ongoing advisory and representational roles for the firm[1]. From November to December 2007, he served temporarily as Chairman of Citigroup.[2][3] On January 9, 2009 Citigroup announced his resignation, after having been criticized for his performance.[4] He received more than $126 million in cash and stock during his eight years at Citigroup.[4] In January 2009, Rubin was named by Marketwatch as one of the "10 most unethical people in business"[5]" sad. 34,000 employees. wrong. something is amiss!
  2. Feel so bad for the Git-Mo's as the US has made life for them so brutal, however, I'm all over the Fish Amandine as it would taste nicely with a 2005 Alsace. http://www.gitmocookbook.com/index.html Interesting, a detainee who was quoted as saying today: "F^ck the waterboarding as I have one scheduled at 10:00am tomorrow." Then... "I usually just walk in and say.. Thanks for the Mustard-Dill Baked Fish last night bitches, let's get the bobbing for apples started here because we're havin some "Git Duck" rare b^tch at 11:00am!" Poor bastards. Down with America!

Great post! Does everything above that you mentioned including give the rest of the team a chance to rest when Cangelosi needs somebody to interview between periods. He's a bargain! He could have signed elsewhere for more $ but I think Lou respects the fact that he knows the game, and although he is not the best skater on the ice (shot etc..) he will be apart of the Devs organization for years to come in some capacity off the ice. Faceoffs are key and he's one of the best.
  4. Then... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/conte...7062401046.html "While we're at it," he said, "we're going to close Guantanamo. And we're going to restore habeas corpus. ... We're going to lead by example _ by not just word but by deed. That's our vision for the future." Now... http://abcnews.go.com/ThisWeek/Economy/com...&id=6619291 "President-elect Barack Obama said this weekend that he does not expect to close Guantanamo Bay in his first 100 days in office. "I think it's going to take some time and our legal teams are working in consultation with our national security apparatus as we speak to help design exactly what we need to do," Obama said in an exclusive "This Week" interview with George Stephanopoulos, his first since arriving in Washington. "It is more difficult than I think a lot of people realize,". Really. Now this.. http://blogs.abcnews.com/george/2009/01/obama-calls-for.html "And eventually sacrifice from everyone?" I asked. "Everybody
  5. The Eagles are here to see the GMEN give this game away. Chippy, Eagles taking late shots but that has always been their game. Looks like the refs want to manage the game and that's fine. Tom, calm the team down and pound the ball!
  6. iliansLeeds, I understand you 100% in regards to our relationship to Israel. I'm sure there are many maps to be found about Hamas and the civilians but that's not my point. Why are we the only country in the world that supports Israel? Why is Israel scared of Obama? I'm not going to dumb this down as you know the answers as I do. I just have a problems with religious states on both the Arab and Jewish side of the equation. Here me.. if Jerusalem were a CITY STATE with UN guards for all 3 major religions, we'd be in much better shape. That simple.
  7. "Um... why should Israel be concerned about our bad financial crisis and domestic policies? We are different countries after all..." No US no Israel and it's as simple as that. 4 million Jewish citizens in NYC is more than all of Israel so the political and economic environment is key. AIPAC... 100's of millions Jewish lobby influences defense, politics and other US Govt. officials looking to line their pockets. US right now is Israel's only ally (Canada ) and would be nothing but Nevada desert if it weren't for US technology and military support. "How is launching an attack on a terrorist group to make their citizens safe a "loose cannon"?" Israel is looking at February elections in their country and a 1,000 Pali's dead mean nothing to not only Israel, but the rest of the ARAB WORLD! Hamas are scum, but a full out offensive into a population center of 1.5 million people? Isreal has the best special forces in the world and could do more damage by hitting Hamas leaders and hanging them by their b^lls in the streets for the Pals to see. It could have been handled better.
  8. Love it! Welcome back Shanny! Philly, Pitt and Rag fans know what a competitor he is! Great in the lockerroom and I cant wait to see him at the rock for his first game back! Hell bent on a Cup this year so lets get a #2 dman LOU!
  9. Been watching him for almost 20 years now (Holik Jagr same year). He's a hockey god and because he was a Ranger he is hated but so was Mac etc... As a Capital he did not win a Cup but was still one of the best in the world. His reach is uncanny, positioning is sick, skating ability at 50% is better than most in the NHL and he makes room for everybody else on the ice. He will fill many a seat!
  10. The Snuggie #1 and Fridge Balls? http://www.infomercial-hell.com/blog/2007/...l-product-name/
  11. Hamas... very bad. Israel means well most of the time except for when they go on an a military offensive. I think throughout Israel's history they have done much better when attacked by an army (Eygpt, Syria etc..). When attacked, they can strike better than any country in the world in conventional fashion. We live in different times now. The Arab nations have been pushing their buttons for the last 8 years and 2006 was the breaking point. They attacked in strength north into Lebanon not knowing the enemies capabilities for probably the first time on record ever... Israel paid the price. Now they attack Gaza I think for a few different reasons but again, they will get bogged down in street to street fighting. Simply put, bad timing. If the United States went into Iraq like Israel went into Gaza killing close to 800 civilians in 11 days? Really, Israel is much better than this and they have OUR weapons to prove it. There is no need for that many civilian losses when 1 bomb took out one of the most prominent leaders of Hamas and 23 members of his family in ONE strike! Muammar al-Gaddafi, he shut the F up when a cruise missle whistled past his d^ck while he was having his way with one of many virgins. My point? Strategic strikes with the best special forces in the world is much better AT THIS TIME than all out war and heading into a city of 1.5 million people. Israel does not care about America (our bad financial crisis, domestic politics etc) because they are more concerned about Obama and creating a buffer in the south before Obama steps into the office. Israel claims to be America's friend but they are simply a loose cannon.

    The Wrestler

Nation wide. Real quick, when I checked out to make sure it was Asbury, the link I afforded you and everybody else on this forum was not an advertisement for "Libido-Max" or "Enzyte". Don't know who the guy is in the link, but he validated my question about Asbury. And you're saying... "Sure Loulam, it's ok.. but libido max?" LOL! Anywho, glad it's an NJ based movie.

    The Wrestler

Watching the tv ad's for the movie "The Wrestler", I could have sworn I saw "Convention Hall". Yeah, it is in the movie I guess for only a few seconds but damn it makes me proud that I grew up at the shore. http://newarkusa.blogspot.com/2008/12/bruc...tler-movie.html Looks like a great movie and glad to see Asbury Park, Bruce and NJ represented.
  14. You don't blame them. Ok, why? Great post btw.
