Hear ya, I really wanted to see the Devils beat at least one of either the Flyers or Isles, but they’re just cooked and yeah, I’m burned out too. Yeah hopefully Fitz doesn’t continue this “Well maaaaaaaaaybe Green” charade for long. There’s no reason at all for it.

Bahl’s been frustrating as fvck at times but I would’ve played him simply because he still is a “young guy”. Smith being blindly dressed yet again was a fvcking joke. It feels like pure trolling at this point. He ruins EVERYONE he’s paired with.

Back to .500, needing just 11 games to do it after that 0-5 start. Credit to them for digging out of the hole that quickly. Hope that they can avoid falling back.

Yeah and it’s not like he was helped by the staff. Agree, considering that he was 20, playing in his first full season, and stuck on a rudderless ship, I think he had a pretty good rookie season.

Signing Lindy to that extension put him in a very bad spot. Hard to admit that you might have made a mistake that early. But like has been said 1000000 times on here, he absolutely waited too long.

Speaking of Luke…one mutant behind me was complaining about how much Luke sucks, that he’s only here because of Jack, and why did Fitz even trade for him (I kid you not about that last part). Think I had to count to 10 at least once.

Agree, Smith of all people had NO business getting this last game. fvck him, Green, and Lindy.

Agree, Green didn’t show us ANYTHING that suggests that he’s the guy. If anything he benefitted from absolutely Herculean goaltending and still finished with a pretty crappy record during his run here.

If Fitz keeps Green and/or re-signs Smith, then I’m gonna find it real hard to believe that he’s gonna turn things around. Really nope neither of these moves happens. It will feel like the 2024-25 season is already off to a bad start.

I’d tell him to keep it. And tell him that I’d rather wear a fvcking Rangers jersey than his. fvck that guy.

Luke and Simon getting these first seasons under their belts is huge.

I haven’t left a game after two periods since my daughter was a little girl who was simply too tired to keep going. At 2-0 it was so over. Contrast that with the team at the beginning of the season that was ragged but never truly out of it. I’m looking forward to a few months without Devils hockey. Hope Fitz makes the right moves this offseason.

Left after two periods. There was no reason to stay and all they did was prove me right. We’ll see what happens but if Fitz decides that Green is the answer then he obviously asked the wrong question.
