Devils look just straight abysmal right now. It's not a good sign when your 4th line is getting your best chances. Lines need a shake-up in the worst way.

Kovy has been out there with lokti thats the chances that we are seeing. Honestly this game looks to  me like the capitals are in desperation mode and just want it more, they are treating this like a playoff game almost and we just can't match it.

Barch had a pass to Lokti in front for a great chance as well. It's not just because Kovy is out there.

 

Also, if anyone should've had Ovie on that goal it was Clarkson, not Fayne. He was the only guy who even had a chance but to be honest it was just a nice play.

couldnt we ask for a 5 on 3 instead of Bernier for a penalty shot? lol

 

Clarkson was right there could have got in the shooting line easily

 

Watch the replay. Clarkson was actually out wide closer to Ovechkin and just kinda threw himself in front of Ribiero at the last second. But it's a moot point. Woulda been a tough chance to stop either way as it was just a nice play.
