have you tried the unsubscribe link on the bottem of the emails? only a guess, but it might stop the emails.

that's not how email marketing typically works. since the prudential center has hundreds of events at the arena, these emails will probably never stop. you can unsubscibe from getting "UFC at the Rock" emails, but you are only unsubsribing from UFC emails. you'll still get them for every band that plays there, every Disney on Ice, etc.

it's not the end of the world to hit delete, but i don't remember getting bombarded like this the last 3 years.

and yes - our attendance is 26th in the league, but i don't need an email today previewing tonights game and tomorrow recapping last nights game.

god forbid you get a few emails from them. the 2 seconds it takes to delete the message you'll never get back.

I thought the promo where they're apparently dumping off the goal bar seats (that they were holding back for concert subscribers... good luck with that), to STH's, was a nice gesture.

Yup.. Gotta love those emails when I get an awesome discount on nice seats to a good concert.. And, they just emailed me to say I won 2 free tickets to Saturday.. So yeah, keep spamming me Devils

I don't mean to double post, but I did too! I was sitting in class bored out of my mind and I saw CONGRATS in caps... free tickets... can't wait. Do you know where the seats are?

None of us know where the seats are. I hope they are good, otherwise ill be down in Section 11 row 18 since my friend won tickets from a MSG contest. But thats half the pairs to saturdays game just won on this board.

You must be the luckiest person in the world... I don't think you've paid for a game yet due to all your winnings. Btw, what are the Pick-Six numbers for tomorrow?

you're a jackass - it was a simple question asking if anyone else was getting a lot of emails from the team. and no, it's not a few. it's about once a day. and when you grow up and have a big boy job and get hundreds of emails every day, they add up.

as i said before, it's not a huge problem. i was just wondering if i was the only one.

Well when the Devils went thru hell to sign Ilya kovalchuk and ice a cup contender and then 12k show up for saturday night games then i dont blame them for being aggressive.

Exactly.

...and the topic will turn into an attendance discussion... LOL

Correct me if i am missing something here.

you give the devils your email address so they can send you ticket offers / updates or whatever<I did to, don't rember when or how so i don't expect you to>

the devils send you ticket offers / updates or whatever once a day.

you create a post which has part of the title for the devils to stop spamming you<even though you have the option of unsubscribing, or simply just deleteing the 1 email a day>

you call someone else a jackass, tell them to get a big boy job because the suggest you just take a couple secs to delete the email. you can't handle 1 email a day, when you are getting hundreds a day. do you not read your email every day at your big boy job <how are they adding up if it's just one a day>? do you get lots of personal email at your big boy job?

how do you claim you were only asking others if they are getting a bunch of emails when the title of you post is complaining that your are getting spammed<and maybe my definition of spammed is different, usually its unwanted emails about viagra or canadien drugs or how my long lost uncle from zimbabwai just died and I just won a 100 million $$'s, not something I actually, you know, signed up for.

If you simply wanted to know if others where getting an email a day, you could have asked without saying the devils are spamming you. you start off confrentiaional and get offended when people call you out on it.

again, am I missing somehting here?

Joe

I'm 32, you fvcking moron. Way to be condescending. since you're apparently a big wheel at a major multinational corporation, and these emails are an affront to your immeasurably busy lifestyle, you should clearly have one of your many secretaries, underlings, and footrubbers handle the situation.

yeah, guess what, I get hundreds of emails a day too, it's called spam. it's incredibly difficult to find the few worthwhile emails and erase the rest. I am being sarcastic, in case your finely tuned corporate mind can't figure that out.

It is annoying to get spam email in your inbox - I have to say - even if it is just one a day.

The calls are annoying too. But it isn't that hard to unsubscribe or to set your spam filter to block specific emails. You just have to be willing to take the time to do it.

And anyways it's better than getting no emails at all - it's nice to see they're really trying.

i'm an importer/exporter - i import chips...potato...sometimes corn. i export diapers. i'm sure you can understand how unwanted email can hinder my enterprise.
