She got two tickets, airfare, transportation to the game, an American Express gift card, and a bag of NFL stuff. And this was way back in October, back before anyone realistically thought the Giants would be going to the Super Bowl. Good for her. Amazing. I lucked into Super Bowl XXV tix and had a blast at the Giant/Bills game. It's a memorable experience going to that game, especially a great game. Another friend and I said the same thing. They have that stupid pavilion and nobody can get involved until its passed back down. I know they have to elevate the presentation for the crowd but a stage would work just as well. If anything, it destroys LOTCB theory that the league throws these games for the Patriots. Giants defence was absolutely amazing so they definitely deserved it. I do buy into the LOTCB theory a little. There were a couple of calls that could have gone either way earlier in the game. I have to say, I was cringing after every big Giants gain during the winning drive just waiting for a flag to pop up. Maybe thats the Jets fan in me. We seem to get punished for our big plays, haha! I do think the NFL would have loved to promote 19-0, but now they'll have to promote The Great Upset. Either way, the NFL won't be losing any cash.
