thecoffeecake
If he comes back, there's an incredibly likely chance that he'd have to be fired at some point. That'll be messier than the end of his playing days
Colorado Rockies 1976
Good for him, and like many others, never thought it was imperative that Brodeur's post-playing career had to be spent with the Devils. Looking forward to his number retirement ceremony where, like Niedermayer's, it will be all about the good and simple appreciation of a terrific player who will go into the Hall Of Fame, who we were all lucky to have. SterioDesign
im glad he's somewhere else for now. We didnt even knew if he was good at that job to start with. And if he sucks we'll we'd end up with a new generation that remember Brodeur only for being a terrible GM. Just like some people only got to know Maclean for been a terrible coach. and i mean the list is pretty long for other examples like that. Plus well it's extremely awkward when its not working out but you dont want to fire a legend out of respect.

NewarkDevil5
Lol there is gonna be a generation that only knows him as a horrible broadcaster Y'know, it really sucks because he was my first favorite player that I ever had for the Devils. Then I switched to Rolston and my god look how that turned out......
