Devil Dan 56 Posted September 27, 2007 Share Posted September 27, 2007 I called my cable company, time warner (no, they do not deserve capitalization), and they told me that they "are in negotiations to make that package available but they (on demand) want too much money." Funny thing is, on the listed prices on time warner sites, they have the price at $169. I believe I paid $150 last time I had it (may have been early bird.) So, they already jacked it up before making a deal. Awful gutsy of them to pretend that on demand is the problem. If anyone needs me, I'll be looking at satellite cable sites... He is sitting here in Winnipeg unemployed for now and taking his real estate license courses. Now I will have no reason to watch Yotes games. Probably won't until after baseball season because they can't authorize you access to those channels because they are being used by Extra Innings. Not true, I've had free Extra Innings on some channels most times I've had Center Ice with Comcast. Well the reason you got free baseball is because you were authorized to get the channels for Center Ice but were not over to Center Ice yet. They are probably trying to cut that down and thus waiting until baseball is over to offer Center Ice. With Satellite the channels are different so that problem doesn't exist.
