devilsrule33
Asking for random players is idiotic. Would you do that normally? 'Well, we gave up 10 goals the last two games, so let's let our 4th line be our 1st line and vice versa today, because we have to do ANYTHING for a change!' They've tried 8 guys. They have to stop trying Henrique obviously, and probably Elias too, but hey. Lottery odds of impossibility - people win the lottery. Crazy streaks happen across sports. This is one of them. It is one of them, but they aren't doing themselves any favours. When you go in that slowly, you better have some real nice moves or exceptional hands. Guys like Parise and Kozlov could pull off some impressive stuff. Elias and Henrique can not.
Triumph
Pretty sure the hockey gods are just against us at this point - Rod Pelley scored a shootout goal to win a game today.
Zubie#8
It amazes me how a smart player like Elias cannot make the simple adjustment of keeping the puck closer to him on his one move so he can elevate it at least 2 feet. He would have scored on each one with that adjustment, so frustrating.
Muevelos
When they get to the shootout... I think, that they think they're done, like we are with the season. The mentality isn't there. It amazes me how a smart player like Elias cannot make the simple adjustment of keeping the puck closer to him on his one move so he can elevate it at least 2 feet. He would have scored on each one with that adjustment, so frustrating.
redruM
Not even sure what to say at this point, Elais & Henrique are too good to miss that many, but they have... IMHO another failure by LL, this team is so lack in the skills dept they cannot even score on a shoot out... again, LL chose the players.... An NHL team has scored 3 goals on 48 shootout attempts vs mostly backup goalies a sledge hockey team, literally...could do better. If you give a sledge hockey player 48 attempts I am positive he could score 4 goals against these guys this is just beyond comprehensible. And some people though it would "even out!" ha. Elias now 0-10, Zajac 0-8. Edited April 11, 2014 by '7'
devils102
Interesting... We are historically still among the best in the shootout at 56-48 (http://goo.gl/Mj2Tou). I guess things are evening out. Just not in the way we all would like. Edited April 11, 2014 by devils102

At least they got a goal today. Of course we didn't even get 3 tries at it because Blowdeur was busy humiliating himself on the other end BUT BUT CORSIWICK SAID IT WOULD EVEN OUT still waiting. the odds of this happening are like 1 in 6000 4 for 50 now since winning that shootout last March against philly 4 goals in 50 shootout attempts. This is all luck I'm sure despite the fact that bantam league children playing against Hasek in his prime would likely do better than this. 2ELIAS6
Throw Gelly, Brunner and Severson. Can it get any worse? he definently needs to just start shaking it up.. out of the entire roster you pick the one guy last night who has voiced that he doesnt want to be a part of the shootout and does not feel comfortable taking them.. i mean how does that even seem like a good choice to pick him..pete is losing shootouts intentionally!
