overtime98
I like the potential of his ability to develop these young kids that we will be using this year.I also give him him the benefit of the doubt that he knows that goals need to be scored. Not every game can be 1-0, 2-1 and so on. Exactly. another plus is Rolston thrived under Lemaire. Maybe this will bring out the best in Brian, I can garuntee Rolston gets Madden's A. Chimaira_Devil_#9
LOU: Alright, listen up, everybody. I have something to tell you. I'm not quite sure how to say this...I'm bald. Let me give you a minute to absorb that. That's the way it is, it's nobody's fault...Madden. But, I've decided to do something about it. TG: Oh, great. You gonna Buy a Wig, fatass? LOU: No, dummy! I'm gonna help make this a bald man's world, by establishing the National Association for the Advancement of Bald People! insanity_gallops
as much as I respect Lemaire, I think the game has passed him by - he's not been as readily able to adjust since the rules change post-lockout. And he doesn't have Scott Stevens anymore. Wild point totals since the lockout: 84 104 (Gaborik played 48 games) 98 89 (Gaborik played 17 games) I agree it's a far cry from what the Devils have done in that same span of time (only one sub-100 point season), but this isn't exactly Joe Gibbs returning to the NFL. Devils Pride 26
This could be one of the worst days in the history of the franchise.
The Rock 07
It doesn't matter who the coach is or what style we play, as long as we win.
theamazingtiny
It doesn't matter who the coach is or what style we play, as long as we win. So if the new strat is to have all the players lay in the goal the whole game and play for the 0-0 tie and then try to get the extra point in the shootout you're ok with that? Devils Pride 26
We have a top 5 player in the game that we are going to turn into a 20 goal scorer.

If it means we win, yes My only concern is if Parise is held back offensively then he may not want to resign with the team. But Rolston did well under Lemaire so I hope that Parise does too. ice dog
This could be one of the worst days in the history of the franchise. perhaps it's time to move Grandpa Lou to a nice place...assisted living community, etc.
themiddle91489
Wikipedia says Lemaire is the head coach of the NJ Devils, for what it's worth I'm not going to be a big fan of the move if we get Lemaire. But if we hit the ground running in October, eh, I'll take it.
