I'm neither at heart, but I'm going to register as a republican so I can vote in the primaries for the first time in my life. The reason? Ron Paul. This man is what our country needs. If you don't know about him, give him a good ol' google and take 5 minutes of your time to read up on him.

We need someone who blames America for 9/11?

Wow.

You mean you didn't read the part where Al Qaeda even said that they hate us because of our interventionist foreign policies? It's not our freedoms they hate. It's not because of the American dream. It's because we stick our nose where it doesn't belong. We need to stop policing the world when most of the time it's none of our business.

Well its not because they hate our freedom prosperity and un-godliness. In that case why wouldn't they attack Sweden. I mean its a very delicate issue and when people hear...We brought 9/11 on ourselves, they freak out. Its both right and wrong to say that.

I can kind of relate it to this analogy.

A women who spills some coffee on her husbands lap, while trying to serve him gets slapped. She of course thinks she its her fault because she spilled the coffee but really she got slapped because he is an a$$hole. While she did "technically" cause herself to get slapped, the guy is still at fault.

I don't know if that makes sense totally because i just made it up now.

But anyway Ron Paul has some good ideas but I think he is too extreme...but if i had to vote republican it'd be for him.

I don't. I voted independent because I am not a Democrat. I may agree with them on most of the high profile issues but I don't agree with them just because they are Democrats. If you had a list of the members who voted independent I bet you would see 2/3-3/4 of them are posters who you would say are "Democrats" based on their postings in this forum.

As an 18-year old, I gotta say, a life's worth of Daily Show, FOX News, and George W. Bush have made me comitted to staying independent for the rest of my life.

You will see more and more people my age refusing to join parties because of the way partisan politics have steered our country.

Every generation says that until they get into life roles and suddenly realize they think one party has their goals in mind.

I agree with Leeds in the political forum for the first time ever. Yikes. Ron Paul is a crazy person. He knows enough to not be talking about the New World Order and the gold standard and the rest on the national stage, but the nuts over at Storm Front love him for a reason, folks.

Anyhow, how many of y'all went out and voted on Tuesday? The whole New Jersey state legislature was up, along with a significant number of county and municipal level seats.

As a europe and swede.. Your damn right! I think the US should try to act globaly together with other countries instead of the arrogant way their doing now! And another tip, war ain't the way to solve problems!

Violence can only be right if there ain't no other way, For example if you're oppressed by a government or similiar! That's my opinion..

But after checking that guy, ron paul, i can just say he stinks.. Against WTO and FN isn't really good.. And lower taxes and "against the state"-politics are not good..

Would you just shut up and go back to wherever the hell it is your from.
