  1. You'er right I need to relax and quit sugar coating the senario of the how game 1 broke down for the less hockey savvy members like yourself. You ever laced up a pair of skates before? I guess that does make me a ranger fan because I'm disgusted with the way the Devs played.. Next time I want you to tell me who I should like I'll let you know. I'm passionate about hockey and especially DEVILS hockey so I tend to take losses hard and embarassing losses even worse. I'll try to be less passionate but I thought that was the point of this board. I'm glad game 2 is Monday GO DEVILS.
  2. Bounces??? Rust??? We got OUTWORKED and OUTPLAYED. bottom line. Carolina is a much more talented team then the Rags, but not as talented as the devs made them look today. If the score would have been 2-0 or 4-1 you can use the rust or bounces excuse but not the 6-0 drubbing that I saw today. Why was Kozlov playing????? In the Playoffs you need guys with HEART!!!!!!!!! Kozlov is not that man. bottom line is this we got embarrassed we need a huge effort out of all our guys, better checking, more shots( we made Ward look like an All-Star today). We need a better game out of our forwards. TAKE SOME SHOTS!!! Lou needs to ship Klee back to Toronto, maybe we can get a stick bag or 100 pucks for him. Heartless performance today. We need to play a complete game in game 2 we need to at least show that we care and can play with these guys

    DEVS HIT WHERE IT HURT

I think Marshall is exactly the type of player you need in the playoffs. He's not perfect he took some stupid penalties, but who hasn't? I did see the attempted knee check and thats a dirty move. But Marshall does one thing great and this thread is a reflection of that. The other tema worries more about Grant Marshall and less about their own game then he has accomplished his goal. Stevens didn't knock somebody unconsious every game but they were all thinking about it. Marshall doesn't knee check somebody(or whatever "dirty" play you choose) but the other tema is thinking about it and not focusing on task at hand. The Rangers should have scored more and spent less time wondering were Marshall was. Then maybe they wouldn't have gone to the golf course so early.
  4. Graham is a decent goalie!! Tort's an idiot thats the bottom line. what happened to Fedetenko?(He played juniors in Sioux City. great gossip on him ) or Modine? Tampa is overmatched and now they throw the goalie to the wolves. what a joke! last time i checked there were 5 guys playing in front of him. their done this year but there first offseason move should be getting rid of tort.
  5. You'er right they got a great team but thier arena is a dump. I work at the Arena in sioux City so I'm a bit biased. but I'm right too. GO DEVILS
  6. Great post the Rags can just warm up their golf clubs and take there seat as the second best team in the metro. I guess being the Oiler retirement club in the 90's worked so well they thought being the Pitt retirement club would get them over the top
  7. I'm probably the only devils fan within 200 Miles living i Sioux City Iowa it is tough to get games on the TV and even tougher to get merch or memoriblia. I statrted likeing the Devils when Burke took them deep into the playoffs in 88 I think it was the uni's I liked the colors. I'm a diehard though I order the center Ice package every year and record every game I can't watch live. I've made it to at least one game each of the last four years usaully in Chicago or Minnesota. I still cry when I hear Mattue! Mattue!Mattue! on ESPN classic. I cried when I lost my 95 stanley Cup hat in Lake Ontario. I even purchased a larger house so I could have a bigger Devils room. My wife thinks I'm crazy. I have some unique ties to this years team though. I went to high school and drank beer with David Hale when he played Juniors in sioux City. SO if any of you see him tell him he still owes Jeff from Sioux City some tickets..........haha. I also scored my first varsity hockey goal against Scott Clemensen when he was playing in Des Moines.........it was a weak one....it hit like 4 skates and somehow found the net. But none of that stuff matters most of all I'm all I'm a die hard fan AND I HATE THE RAGS AND THE FLYERS GO DEVILS GO DEVILS GO DEVILS.
