Satans Hockey Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 I know there is a USA Soccer thread but with the 2014 world cup now past us I figure we should let that thread die as well since now the team has started their road to Russia in 2018 now. If should be an interesting 4 years. Klinsmann said the goal is to make the semifinals. Did anyone catch the game today? USA won 1-0 against the Czech Republic in Prague. They played a solid game even if the defense looked shakey at times. It's also always nice to see them win though, especially on the road. Happy with the 1-0 result given that the amount of young, inexperienced players the US had. Probably would've lost if it wasn't for Rimando stepping up huge in the 2nd half. Awesome to see Gyau, Hyndman, and Garza make their debuts. Thought Gyau had a really solid game. Liked Brooks and Johnson in defense and Mix and Bedoya in midfield.
