Whatever issues they've had in these playoffs, it's definitely not lack of heart or effort. These guys do try and they do fight. But this Flyer team is not a good matchup for them. Appreciate the effort but he is giving nothing along the boards and in the defensive end he can't get good push off. Sit him for who? We've only got garbage waiting in the press box, that's why our fourth line stunk for most of the year. Plus he can still contribute offensively if you give him some space. It'd be nice if they could get him off the point, but other than Zidlicky (and he's already on the point) who else can really play there? It's to the point where if we even win a few SHIFTS we could get one past Bryz, since we've basically had three real scoring chances the last forty minutes and two have wound up in the net. Under the circumstances and the way that this game evolved, I can't ask for more than this (a chance to win in OT). The Devils flat-out don't deserve to win this game.
