Zubie#8
Very interesting way to rank these teams with championships expected and team likeability, but I saw Lightning at #2 in 2011 and they are at #7 for 2012? Weird. Rangers #63 Edited September 7, 2012 by Zubie#

ATLL765
I don't understand how both the Lightning and Coyotes, who are the only two NHL teams ahead of us on that list, got higher ratings in the last column for Title Track (TTR): Championships already won or expected in the lifetime of current fans. Phoenix has 0 championships and with their issues, I don't see them winning one too soon either. Then Tampa, I guess they could win one in the next few years if Yzerman makes some more good moves in the next year or two, but they've only won one Cup before, so I still don't see how that outweighs our 3 Cups and trip to the SCF this past season. chazmo99
Devils W-L record over the past 2 years has us in 4th behind the Packers, Miami Heat, and Patriots. It's a shame that Phoenix got ranked the #1 Overall NHL team because of the affordability of tickets bang-for-your-buck.
devilsrule33
Let's call it what it is. Since the Devils are ranked so high, there are no complaints. But if they happened to be 60th or 70th, this thread would be a few pages long saying ESPN knows sh!t. But the reality is this rankings stuff is such garbage. How they got the Devils at 13th makes no sense at all. It is actually laughable.

Well, it's the offseason (in most American sports) and we all want some sports stuff, so this kind of articles isn't bad at this time of year. Obviously, I can't see GMs pulling their hair out because ESPN ranked their team low in some fan-satisfaction standings, but it's at least a good try at comparing franchises from different sports in terms of how they are run and how happy their fans are. DevsMan84
Lol at 12th place for fan relations. That already is the shocker and the punch line of the article. Since when did ESPN turn into MAD magazine?
peteyvegas
It's a damn good rank, considering that no one even thinks of us for anything.
