DevilMinder
Exactly. Maybe this will be the end of where at the beginning of each season the media picks Pitts to win the Cup. Dream on. But I will dream with you for the next 3 months. Lol.

devils102
Didn't the Devils do the no touch team portrait around the trophy last year? Jim Hughson from Hockey Night in Canada says he's never seen a team do that before.

Onddeck
Wowwwww this is crazy. A sweep!! They just did not show up. Malkin and Crosby were held pointless and Pitt converted on 0 PPs. They simply did not show up

Devilsfan118
Ahh, the Penguins lose. It's a good night. And they gave up a ton of assets going for it this year. Fantastic.

Onddeck
And Boston had two more power plays and were also held score less.i meant in the entire series.. Unless you're saying Boston was scoreless on the PP the entire series too- which I didn't know

hit the post
Hats off to Vokoun for these last two games. He really did play great...Hate sh!tsburg but you have to feel for him...He won the starting job for next season anyway.
BlueSkirt
I guess Iginla picked the wrong team Same for Paul Martin !
Pepperkorn
I was never a fan of Martin and what bugs me is that if he hadn't left the Devils he'd be a huge part of our defence. Do you all understand what I mean there? The Devils would MAKE him a huge part of our defense for specific reasons. Personally I do not think our D would be better for it - maybe marginally. Fortunately this didn't happen, yet there is a certain scope of vision for our D. It's OK. It's working, I understand that. but it's spread so thin. Middling talent spread thin - yet it isn;t eggshell delicate. It's very solid because it's well built - but out of sh!tty material I guess is my point. Not sh!tty players - but very even -- I guess I see the strategy as I write this -- but I love defence and it's sort of unsatisfying for me to watch. It's not climactic or passionate. and I sort of like that in my hockey. from defense, not offense. I think because you can hit offense with surprises and defence is such a backbone, It is what it is and will be as strong as it is. ok I'm rambling... I just can't stand Paul Martin... yet there is a part of me that wonders if he - stupid HE might have added strength to the Devils defense -- not at that price tag -- but if he had stayed he's be there now baby he'd be huge here it just bugs me and I'm still not sure I've put my finger on it. 2ELIAS6
love that the penguins got shut down... and love even more that they got swept up like the bunch of whinny little bitchs half of them are!
Zubie#8
Glenn Healy said that...and very sarcastically, btw. Glenn Healy should shut his mouth, he said Quick comes out of the net too much and should stand on the goal line like Lundqvist.

MadDog2020
Paul Kruger out, Dallas Eakins in in Edmonton: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=425009
Muevelos
Not 100% yet for Eakins. Most apt though. And it isn't there coach. Krueger was good it is a another case of coaches taking the hit when really it's the GM.
Devils Dose
We love to poke fun at the Penguins goaltending, but that goal against Quick right there may have been worse than anything that MAF or Vokoun allowed.
