Score.ca...via the Flyers message board.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

if all 3 of those players are signed, stevens may very well not be coming back.

That's sort of what I was thinking... i'm holding my breath lonely.gif

even though I kind of think I shouldn't be...

HOLY CRAP: McGillis, Rafi AND Malakhov!!!!!!!

I LOVE YOU LOU!!!!

The Flyers just became the second best team in the East.

CONFIRMED!!!

LOL

I'm not sure where this leaves us, but I think Lou will make a trade at some point.

I think Whitey and Brown get moved. McGillis is a lot more annoying to play against and from what I remember, a lot less dumb-penalty prone.

I know that McGillis and Brashear are two dudes on my "I'd like to hit with my car" list when they weren't playing for the Devils.

I bet Stevens comes back.

Honestly can't see a place for Brown with the Devils now... unless he's to be kept around as insurance. And where does Hale fit into everything?

Rafalski

Matvichuk

Martin

White

Hale

Malakhov

McGillis

Brown

Stevens(?)

I agree that Hale doesn't fit. (thank god) and that brown will go ( ) so the devs should have a pretty reliable defense for this year, esp. if stevens resigns

How does this seem reliable to you? Rafalski and Martin are the only guys who can skate out of all them.

br, you're ready to give up on Hale after one season? He was a rookie playing in the NHL with no professional experience, and he played respectably. To be sure he was weak at the start, but towards the end of the season (before his injury) he was playing solid hockey; I remember a game against the Rangers last year where he was everywhere and hitting anything in blue.

This is a player the Devils initially projected as a top-pairing d-man. I'd like to see him get regular ice time and develop further -- but I'm thinking Lou will keep him in Albany to see if he can play an entire year without injury or illness shortening his season. No need to risk it if McGillis can fill his spot.

Raffy is my new second favorite player. THERE is someone who shows true loyalty. Lou brought him back from Europe and Raffy repays him by waiting for Scotty-poo to make his decision. I doubt it's easy to know that you're second priority over someone else but anyways bravo Raffy! Of course my feeling will probably change if it turns out that Raffy will be making 5 mil/yr. <_<
