The worst part of life...in the end, we're all terminal.  What a life he led though...82 years old, saw his son become one of the best ever at his position...considered one of hockey's finest photographers...his seemed like a life lived to the fullest.

RIP, thoughts to the family and friends.

Really amazing what he accomplished in his life - Olympic Bronze, raised one of the NHL's all time greats, raised another son who was a pro baseball player and later a photographer like him, grandsons already making their own accomplishments, and he had a sports photographer's portfolio for the ages.

Reading the TSN article, you also get the sense of how well liked and respected he was by his colleagues.
