rockcreature66630
Yeah but it's not like we are looking for a future in Havelid. The Devils gave up a defenseman that looks completely lost in his own zone. I liked Salmela's offense and was sad to see him go but Anssi is not going to help the Devils in the playoffs this year. Havelid will. The farm system has a few promising guys in Corrente, Eckford, Fraser, and others. Martin is a keeper as is Oduya. White and Salvador are signed long term. This trade was a depth move and can only help the team. Yeah it makes us even older, but only for two months. You mean four months right? ha ha
Christopher_watts31_ls
Flyers nullify McLaren trade The Philadelphia Flyers said Friday they have nullified the trade on March 4 with the San Jose Sharks in which they acquired defenseman Kyle McLaren in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2009 Entry Draft. McLaren did not pass his physical, according to General Manager Paul Holmgren. http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=412725
Jerzey
How can anyone be upset? The Devils are a Stanley Cup contender. favorites in my opinion. At least in the East. Boston is already slowly falling and Washington isn't as good as NJ.
