metalfro44
http://www.alfa.lt/straipsnis/10380215/?Zubrus.tapo.Nacionalines.vaiku.ledo.ritulio.lygos.prezidentu=2010-07-27_16-32 I read Lithuanian on what can probably be considered a 3rd grade level at the moment (I am in the 7th week of an 8 week intensive Lithuanian language course) so I am not completely sure what the story is here, but it seems Zubrus is involved in a youth hockey movement in Lithuania. Perhaps Niaure can give us a better translation. I checked, and there is nothing on the Devils site. Just thought this would be a pleasant distraction. Niaure
Yes, that's true. Zubrus became the president of the Lithuanian children league. It will be the second year for that league, and Zubrus is happy that it progressing well and gets bigger. Also, he was one of the creators of this league last year. Now he's in Lithuania for this week, having some business about all this. Here's another Lithuanian link with some photos, that I gave in "Kovy's" thread: http://sportas.delfi.lt/national/dzubrus-plecia-lietuvos-vaiku-ledo-rituli.d?id=34887085 Edited July 28, 2010 by Niaure

njdevil26
He really is a great guy. Every time I meet him he's always one of the nicest players compared to everyone else.
GoArmySports
I remember when Zubrus was hurt this year they showed the Lithuanian 14 and under team in the crowd on tv since they were here for a tourney. They didn't get to meet Zub I think because this is when he was still hurt.

Hopefully they still had the chance to at least meet with him, pose for pictures, get autographs, etc. That would be a real bummer if they didn't!
