Colin226
Just thought I would post this to say hi to everyone. Yesterday my brother and I became season ticket holders for the remainder of the season. Normally, it's past the cutoff to purchase season tickets for this season but one of the guys at the Ticket Office was able to hook us up. We're in the front row of section 226 (a few seats to the right of "Crazy Jamie" in section 225). We're both in our early 20's and have been talking about getting season tickets for about 10 years, so this is a big deal for us. So we're extremely happy to be part of the Devils family and I'm looking forward to some good talk on NJDevs. Thanks guys!

Colin226
Welcome...and how you like 226? It's very nice.. The view is really good and you don't feel far away.. Front row is nice because no one walks in front of me.. I'm also able to easily sell seats to games I can't attend.. It's really always been a dream of mine so it's very unreal right now to look at my sheets of tix.. I should be there tomorrow night so look for me haha.. What's your section of choice? Colin226
Howd you do it? i would love to be a season ticket holder Well my Brother is 22 and has a job so he buys the other season ticket.. So basically what I do is a buy my season tickets, and then go through all the games and put them into the categories: Games I Will Attend/ Games I Might Attend/ Games I Might Sell/ Games I Will Sell... Then I use TicketExchange (season ticket holders get a deal on listing because the Devs have partnered with Ticketmaster) and I list the games I don't want to go to and might not want to go to.. I also sell them on here because a lot of Devils fans come looking for last minute tickets.. I basically decide what my budget is for the season and I go to as many games as meets or is under my budget.. Then I sell the rest at face value to get rid of them ASAP.. So for me there are 41 games at $22 a piece which is $902 for the season.. If my budget is $250 for the season then I know I can only go to 11 games and must sell the other 30.. It's very easy to sell seats in the dark green ($25) section because everyone can afford it.. Don't go into this looking to sell your tickets at a high premium or you won't sell.. Buy season tickets for the love of the game, break even with games you can't go to.. Also, talk to all your friends, family, co-workers, etc. and let them know you have season tickets. Once you decide the games you won't go to, email them that list and offer them what you paid ($22 in my section's case) and let them know it's $3 below the normal face value.. It's really not hard because the Devils are so good.. You should consider it for next year.. Also, park on the street so that it's free.. paying for parking to every game will add up a ton! Colin226
Yeah, I did like my 1st and 100th or something in my intro thread, then posted my 1000th in my pride and glory of NJDevs, LP2P (may it rest in peace). But you're a great new addition to NJDevs, it's always great to see new people come in, post frequently (and with a good knowledge of hockey), and really seem to enjoy everything about the Devils! Here's to many more! Thanks man.. I appreciate all you bring to the boards too .. maybe I'll see you at a game this year! Thanks man
