I've logged off and on, shut down and restarted the computer...I'm at a loss. Any ideas? I think you all know I'm a little challenged in the computer area. For the option that says "Do you wish to view images in posts, such as smilies and posted images?", make sure it says "Yes". It's worth a shot... CRASHER Posted March 26, 2004 Share Posted March 26, 2004 first advice... don't let your cat run across the keyboard simple terms.. when you go to the web and access a site or a picture your browser will save the files accessed in a thing called cache (or temp. internet files for those on internet destroyer).. when you go BACK to the site it checks it for changes .. and if there are none it uses the file in the cache instead skipping the waste of bandwidth and time.... was that better ?? For example, when PK posts, I can see her avatar bot not the counter line under her rank, ya know? Also, I can see the smilie next to her signature but not the smilies she posts in the post, ya know? Annnnd, when her and Moustic were cheerleading yesterday in that thread, I saw all the smilies they were posting but nobody elses. Does that make any sense to you.
