Anyone watching?

Nadal won in straight sets today over Fish. Venus survived in three sets. Henman outlasted Moya in five which meant it was a good two days for England.

Federer is going for five straight. Borg was the last to do it. He could face Safin in Round 3. And wouldn't that be interesting? But Marat says he has "no confidence."

Sharapova won too.

I am hoping to catch as much of this as possible. Did anyone see Venus almost get beat today? I was really disappointed when she won, hopefully she takes an early exit.

As usual I am cheering for Hantuchova, Sharapova, and Golovin. Perhaps even Ivanovic or Jankovic as I am liking their games the more I see them play.

On the mens side I hope Roddick does well, and I while a Federer-Nadal final would be cool, I really hope their is an underdog in there with one of them.

I love Wimbledon, it is my favorite tournemant of the year and the one that got me into tennis a couple of years ago.

The Henman-Moya match was great. That was classic grasscourt tennis. Lots of points at the net. Weird endings. Just very competitive fun stuff and one of the reasons I enjoyed watching Henman. Too bad he bowed out in 5 earlier today.

Federer won No.50 in a row and now will face Safin in Round 3. We'll see if the unpredictable Russian can pose a test. He's certainly talented enough to.

Nadal cruised through.

Sharapova and Venus won too.

Blake has a great on-air persona. Really hope he ends up as part of a broadcasting team after he retires.

He does iggy. It's ashame he's never really had a breakthrough slam. He has a decent chance to meet Federer in that section after beating Pavel. I'd like to see that.

Blake is so disappointing. He lost to a clay courter. Venus vs Sharapova could happen in Round 4. That might be good. We'll see.

And it looks like Serena vs Justine quarter rematch.

The Williams sisters have heart. Serena gutted out that win. Hantuchova just is a choker. She has all the game to win a major but just can't get it done. She's wilted before.

I hope Serena destroys Henin.

I hope also that Nadal doesn't lose when that fifth set continues cause that would suck.

First off, rain sucks!

Secondly, rain sucks again!

Thirdly, Hantuchova is probably the best choker in woman's tennis. She is one of my favorites but damn it is frustrating to watch her do this. I just hope she can get one grand slam before she retires, she deserves one.

Did anyone catch part of the Nadal-Soderling match? I really hope Soderling can get the upset but he keeps blowing a lot of opportunities. I mean so is Nadal but Soderling is going to have to capitalize on those more than Nadal due to talent. I hope they finish that tomorrow and Soderling wins.

Hopefully Sharapova wins tomorrow. If she doesn't I will be so pissed. One person I never knew much about but seems to be doing well is Michaella Krajicek. I think it would be cool if she won the whole thing too, I'm hoping to at least be able to see one of her matches to see how she plays.

Another disappointing tournament for Sharapova. She just lost in straight sets to Venus. What a horrible display. :argh:

Quaterfinals:

Henin vs. S. Williams

Bartoli vs. Krajicek

Ivanovic vs. Vaidisova

Kuznetsova vs. V. Williams

I guess I am cheering for Krajicek or the winner of Ivanovic/Vaidisova the rest of the way.

I haven't been able to catch much of this rainfilled tournament which kind of sucks since it's awesome.

Venus beating Sharapova that easy is surprising. But I don't see anyone beating Henin this time.

It sucks that you already have some quarters set and some guys still have 4th round matches to play.
