PB patches are in stock!

Nothing like profiting off of death.

Perhaps since Walt Dorholt has sold so many unlicensed Devils jerseys over the years without paying a dime to re-produce a copyrighted logo, perhaps a proceed of the PB patches should go to the same fund the game worns will be auctioned for.

How about it, Sir?

Ugh, you again?

Please, I had these made at the request of a dozen people. If there is enough interest from my customers, I have no problem reproducing something they want. I understand you dont care for my business practices, but if I were truly profiting from death I would be charging $20 for these. I donate to a local Hockey Fights Cancer program, as well as other hockey programs, though I have no problem sending a dollar of each patch to who ever you feel deserves it.

If you think I will sell thousands of these, you're sadly mistaken! I would love to move that many of them, but the truth is, I sell a very small amount to a small niche of people who appreciate the quality stuff that I make. The best way to reach those people is on a forum where we all gather!

I pay my taxes, buy all my materials domestically and I bust my ass to barely make a living like the rest of us. The day my jerseys sales bankrupt the Devils, please let me know.

So, yes, folks, your PB patch purchase will help to support a great cause.

Producing these patches, selling them for a profit (even one dollar) is profiting from death. I am sorry you do not understand that. There is a reason the Devils do not sell these patches or the prior JM to the public. The same for the Yankees and the Steinbrenner/Sheppard patches (the ones on eBay are reproductions). They do not believe in profiting from death.

You'll sell enough where it'll be worth your while or you wouldn't be going through the process to produce them or advertise them. Perhaps you'll also wind up plastering them on ebay like the JM patches and unlicensed retro jerseys.

What great cause will it support? Your own? If you are truely serious, La Maison Aube-Lumiere, a cancer hospice in Sherbrooke, Que. is where the proceeds of the game worn jerseys are going. That's where the patch proceeds should go as well. If you do that, at least you are giving something back and i will give you proper respect even though i do not believe in you producing these patches and marketing them.

I was wondering where people got all those JM patches for their jerseys at the games I go to. I knew they were not the real things off of game worns cause I do not think and of the guys on the team at that time or even now wear size Friggin Ginormous jerseys.

Also, if you are producing knock-offs and not making much on them, what is the point then? How much could you be donating then if you are not making much off the jerseys you make?

Plus, if you are making knock-offs, then you are taking the job away from innocent Chinese workers who work long hours to produce the great assortment of quality knock-offs we enjoy purchasing every day. You are stealing their jobs and that makes you the Chinese version of a Mexican illegal alien.

I'm with unknown poster here. You're profiting off death here specifically, and more in general, your profiting off of something that isn't yours and you put no work into creating (I'm talking about the Devils logo/brand, obviously you work on the physical jerseys). You claim that "the best way to reach those people is on a forum where we all gather," yet you have 16 posts. I'd bet a vast majority (if not all) of your posts have been promoting your knockoff items.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. The guy is a custom sports jersey seller, as in, he creates things you cannot buy as they are in production or are no longer sold. Example: You want a white throwback Devils jersey? Well, they don't sell them anymore. You can overpay on ebay and hope you get a legitimate one, or you can get a quality stitched one from him.

I don't know this guy personally but I've seen his work in person and it's good stuff. I think this bashing is unfair.

Thanks for the insight adam85491.

Obviously, you are not familiar with licensing and copyright laws. You also aren't familiar with those who lack moral fiber

Exactly.

Do the right thing, Mr. Dorholt. Donating some proceeds of your PB "reproductions" is the right thing to do.

If you couldn't take me saying the guy makes custom jerseys, then you SERIOUSLY live a sheltered life.

Do you always have this big of a comprehension problem then play coy about it?

"Custom" jerseys does not mean you break licensing laws. You can not re-produce a professional sports team's logo or put it on a jersey without license to do so. Period.

He can sell the Devils jerseys without the Devils logo on them. Once he puts that Devils logo on them he violates copyright and licensing laws.

I would agree with unknown poster. Additionally the (larger) sites that offer counterfeit goods have recently been targeted by US law enforcement. The domains have been seized.

How about this, I will donate 20 dollars to cancer and show you a proof of donation and you would send me a patch? If you're donating the money to cancer you will be pleased to see that the cause will receive more money through donating compared to the few dollars going towards the patch.

I'll second this motion and do the same.
