snartly
"Lamoriello said that Josefson's play had dropped off recently and that they want him to go to Albany and get his confidence back." This also give them a chance to play Loktionov tomorrow vs. Ottawa. Loktionov is in Josefson's spot on the fourth line today with Barch/Matteau, Butler. The other three lines remain the same. NJDevs4978
lol so much for my last post. I don't really see how this is going to help unless they put Loik on the third line, but that might involve breaking up the Gionta group. Zubie#8
I dont think Lokti will look good with Butler and Barch. But I dont know who can look good on that line. Edited February 17, 2013 by Zubie#
snartly
Loktionov is wearing No. 21 -- previously worn this season by Mattias Tedenby.
DJ Eco
Kind of saw this move coming, Josefson hasn't been playing his best.
TheRadHeedan
This will be good to see what this kid can do. Josefson in my opinion only had one real good game so far. Doesn't cut it if you want to stay in the NHL.
coldply123
Sensible move. Josefson needs to get his confidence back and work on his shot. No harm in seeing what Loktionov can do. However, we are starting to run out of guys. Eventually, Lou can't keep running an AHL/NHL carousel with these guys and may need to add another proven forward via trade. MadDog2020
Can't say I didn't see this coming. Josefson did it to himself, he's been garbage.
peteyvegas51
JJ hasn't even tried to score. His head is not screwed on right. Needs a little seasoning.
devilsrule33
It's a little unfair to judge anyone with Barch. Would like to see the new guy with Butler and Matteau. Sitting Matteau for Barch just makes me sad.
PWW
Needed to be done. One accidental point and a -8 were not gonna cut it. Excited to see what Lokti can bring.
cgb6397
Four Loki! Lets see it!
iceowl14
Good move this. JJ has potential, and rotating him in to the team every now and then will improve him all round rather than running him down and breaking all the work he's had up to now. Looking forward to seeing Loki on the ice too.
sundstrom
haha - njdevs.com is now the GM for the devils.
RangersSuck23
Well this was a bit surprising, hope Lokti plays well
Zubie#8
Not surprised at all. They didnt acquire Lokti just to have him sit in the AHL for his last year. Edited February 17, 2013 by Zubie#
Devils731
I dont think Lokti will look good with Butler and Barch. But I dont know who can look good on that line. Butler has been almost making things happen with little support from Barch and close to none from Josefson. If Lokti can play they can probably start creating some offense instead of nothing. If Lokti can play they can probably start creating some offense instead of nothing. Yeah Barch is holding his own but I would like to see more offense develop for Butler. You can see the kid has talent. Barch plays very conservatively which isn't a bad thing but I would like to see more offense throughout our four lines. So lets hope Lokti fits right in. iamtheprodigy
Good move. Josefson hasn't been doing enough. Maybe this will wake him up and give the big club someone who will be a bit more effective.
Devil Fan
Well, JJ is the weakest link and I don't think Loki will be any worse than that...hopefully
