Devils Fan Andrew Catalon Doing PBP for Jags/Bills

As some of you know, a long time friend of mine is Andrew Catalon, maybe best known for doing PBP for curling during the Olympics. He's also a huge Devils fan, going back to when we'd go to Devils practices at South Mountain with him wearing his Kevin Todd jersey.

Anyway, he's doing the play-by-play for the Jags/Bills game this Sunday. Maybe if you have the Sunday Ticket, try and bump up the ratings a bit. Otherwise, just follow him on twitter @andrewcatalon.

Doesn't really matter to me if he is a Devils fan or not. Very cool accomplishment so congrats to your friend. Always like to see some new announcers do NFL games. Unfortunately for your buddy, CBS lineup is extremely deep with talent, while Fox's is a disaster with so many bad guys, the worst being Dick Stockton and Sam Rosen.

CBS weak link is Marv Albert. An absolute legend, but his new stint calling NFL games with CBS has not been good at all. Since your buddy is working with Gannon, I gather he is replacing Marv this week.

FOX has Kevin Burkhardt now, who I've enjoyed in the games I've heard him on, granted I'm probably a little biased.

That's a really nice accomplishment though, wish him the best.

He's doing a good enough job that Fox is giving him a playoff game. Very impressive. Looks like Fox is finally realizing what a poor job most of their vets are doing.
