MadDog2020
SJ has the look of a squad that's had enough of coming up short in the dance. They appear to be on a mission.
newjerseydamo
SJ is such a beast. Love rooting for them - classy players, classy fans, and a cup has been a long time coming. Definitely. When I visited SJ to see the Devils play in 2010, their fans were nothing but nice. Was a nice venue, and even though the Devils lost 5-2, was still a good experience. Then when I visited LA and Anaheim to see the Devils play, the level of arrogance and inhospitable nature was unbelievable. I had a soft spot for LA, but definitely rooting for SJ to go long. Devils Pride 26
Watching the five minute highlight video, did Quick really play that badly? He looked like he had a phenomenal first. Probably on 6 of those 7, were clean, perfectly placed shots from good scoring areas. Lots of odd man rushes for the Sharks. And my goodness do they have some shooters. He wasn't terrible and there's no way I go to Jones if I'm Sutter, but 12 goals in two games... That's not good for Quick's confidence, no doubt about it. Great shots, and maybe the Sharks are capitalizing on him going down in his butterfly so much. But, Quick has not been a a stud since the 2012 Finals. Someone did the stats recently, but all the Kings backups over the last two seasons had better numbers than him. Having said that, those two games have nothing to do with Quick. Sharks are just flying and sniping.
DJ Eco
fvck san jose, Go Avs, I believe. I love the Avs but they could use some humility, considering how young they are. It'll make them better hungrier players in the long run if they try their hardest but come up short (this year). Would like to see St. Louis or San Jose make the Finals and win it all. I've liked either of those teams for a while and they each have a lot of players deserving a Cup once and for all.

Easily the worst team in the playoffs. They'll have major troubles with the Blues or Hawks next round.
Devilsfan118
So I'm honestly surprised at just how dirty Duncan Keith has been playing thus far. I admittedly don't watch a ton of west conference hockey, but I wasn't aware of just how bad he's gotten. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wfSViLSA1w And then this, "wakey wakey Backes" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sH-xn3FY-Tw Someone needs to give him a dose of reality..can't disrespect another player who's just been the victim of a dirty hit like that. And apparently he doesn't fight either. Edited April 21, 2014 by Devilsfan118
MadDog2020
That's pretty fvcking classless on Keith's behalf.
Chuck the Duck
Gotta say...the Blackhawks are probably my second favorite NHL team (comes from playing NHL '94 with the unbeatable Roenick, Chelios, Belfour combo as a kid). However, the Keith's actions and comments are gutless and classless. St. Louis is going to win this series, and deservedly so.
HellOnICE
Fluery and Cory both have 1 year left. The Devils need to put Cory in a position this summer where he has to sign an extension or take a huge risk that he could get hurt while waiting for a similar offer from a team like the Pens next summer. MadDog2020
2 goals in just over a minute for Pittsburgh, and its all tied up in Columbus.
MadDog2020
Make that 4-3 Pittsburgh, 3 goals in 2:13 on 3 consecutive shots. The crazy thing is Crosby and Malkin have been pretty much invisible.

devilsrule33
Just like last year with the Isles, Pitt may survive, but they are who we thought they are. And the Jackets let them off the hook!
CarpathianForest
How many players on Pitt are UFA after this season? I'd love to see that roster picked apart.
