thelastonealive
It seemed to be rumored for awhile, but Nashville made it official this morning. Seems worth mentioning, even if we did just shore up our coaching position for awhile. Rare to see a guy last as long as he did there. http://predators.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=714641 For comparison's sake the Devils have cycled through fourteen coaches since the day Trotz was hired in Nashville (August 1997): Lemaire Ftorek Robinson Constantine Burns Robinson Lamoriello Julien Lamoriello Sutter Lemaire MacLean Lemaire DeBoer It is nice we're getting that stability behind the bench now with DeBoer back for (what's rumored to be) at least two more years. Chuck the Duck
Wow. I wouldn't have picked him to be the first coach fired this offseason. I reserved that for Torts, but I guess VAN has 8 million reasons for keeping him around for another year.
MantaRay
A smart organization should grab him quickly. Always had to rebuild due to management, yet always had them in the playoffs until this year. I won't recognzie Nashville without him.
Zubie#8
If the Islanders or Leafs are smart they would go after him, hell even the Pengulns should go after him.

Neb00rs
15 years is a long time and in Nashiville's case, Trotz is all they know. Still, they were on the verge of becoming a 'status quo' team and they made a change at the right time. They weren't moving forward anymore and it's time to move on. ringtwins
he seemed to get that team ready to play us, always a tough out.
MadDog2020
I said a "smart" organization. He isn't glamorous enough for Leaf Land Haha true, the Leafs are the antithesis of a smart organization. Maybe Florida (not traditionally competent either, but Tallon isn't a total dummy) will go after him.
