Well if they are going to move Gagne and they are certain they'd get Kovy, they would make the 10% I think.

Regardless of whether they can make it work or not... I would be PISSED if this happened.


this literally cannot have happened, the NHL would reject the contract.

That's what I was thinking about Gagne. If they sign Kovy, they'll have to move Gagne and not take any salary back. Parise-Zajac-Zubrus... Elias-Arnott-Gagne sounds nice.

that kovalchuk contract would put them 10.5 million over according to capgeek so even if they moved gagne and meszaros they'd still be over. you may as well suggest the blackhawks signing kovalchuk.

No thanks I'd rather go in a younger direction. At the rate Lou is bringing back X-Devils alone our average team age will be 57 lol.
