And then there's Salvador, for every goal he doesn't score, there's 2-3 goals per game he's responsible for the opposition team scoring on us. I do agree though, it's not a Gelinas/Salvador debate. My ideal condition would be for Larsson to come back up and take Sal's spot. Sal's looked like a bigger liability than 2011 Tedenby on a penalty kill. Like I said, I need proof Merrill has been SIGNIFICANTLY better. Not just better, but he needs to blow Gelinas away defensively for this move to not hurt the team. PP depth is what makes our PP good. Yeah if it's between Gelinas and Zids I'd rather have Zids in but he does make some bad mistakes. Only Brunner takes penalties at worse times than Zidlicky. There were a few times over the last few games where Gelinas pinched in or tried to stand up in the neutral zone only to get beat and gift the other team a 2 on 1.
