Well, this was an exciting finish. Sweden tied it early in the 2nd half and then hit two crossbars.

England went ahead in the 87th minute on a nice header. But they played too cautiously and allowed Sweden to tie it off a throw in in the 90th minute. Atrocious D and bad play by the goalie.

England definitely needs to tighten up when the playoffs start.

If Rooney starts to get sharp... England is going to be tough to beat. you can see he is not 100% yet, as he is always a tick or 2 off.. but if he gets warmed up.... Eng might just win the cup!!!

I think he was pulled in that game and was quite upset about it.

Anyway, England can only win if their defensive effort improves. Don't play so conservative when you have a lead.
