smelly
who would've thought that martin would be considerably better than hale?! yes, he always had more offense, but he looks better defensively as well. He's playing much better than Rafalski at both ends of the ice, too.
Weekes Head
Game over, we lose.
smokinscurvy
Kolzig has been in a zone for the last week, so tonight's not a big surprise to me. Oh well, can't win them all ... but winning against the so called 'easier' teams would be nice once in a while. Especially win they're needed. Weekes Head
Disgusting display of defensive play tonight. I'm thoroughly disappointed.

HKM32
completely agree RD, even with your post in the beginning that we would get embarrassed...i think im a "realist", i know no game is a guarentee. dont want to ruffle feathers but i dont know that marty would have played any better whan clemmy. madden, langs, and friesen need to pick it up bottom line. gomer, gio, and patty playing well but we all know not to rely on one line...and when we do burns seems to change things up

LizDevil30
Sick, sick, sick. Inexcusable loss. 40 + shots and a 6 on freakin' 4 and they can't score! What is the answer? Who is the answer? This team can't score. I'm starting to believe that Madden couldn't bury one in an empty net, Ralfi for that matter either. Bring on the Rangers. Who are destroying the Isles tonight. LETS GO DEVILS! djstubbs
agreed we all need a glass of kool aid esp when lou is draggin his knuckles on making A move I think after tonights performance Lou will make a move...
insanity_gallops
Lou never makes moves based on one game. It's like Burns said before -- he doesn't judge team performance by wins and losses, he judges by how well they've played. Granted, it seems like they played terribly tonight and their recent games haven't been too solid... so a move is possible. But far from a guarantee. NJDevs4978
Thing is, the team hasn't been playing well for two months really, other than the 7 wins in 9 games just before the Vancouver game before the All-Star break. Since then they've given up 21 goals in 7 games I think after tonight at the very least, most of us need a glass of the Kool-Aid. Some of us need a gallon though
