My thoughts are they are waiting to see if he makes the big club or goes down to the minors. Maybe this is just sour grapes after being really good at last year's game and losing so much in this one, but for me the online play is so aggravating. I was good at using the stick lift in NHL 11 but now it does nothing for me, it's either a penalty or I lift the guy's stick and he's still able to continue skating with the puck. The passing is horrible too, I understand they want it to require some skill but I've never had such a hard time completing a pass in a video game, this is NHL 12 not mite hockey 12. They also need to up the game speed, I feel like they are skating through quicksand. Other things that bother me is that the line change menu seems to stay on the screen after stoppages about 20% of the time, and in offline play whenever I try to do a change on the fly while I have the puck in my own zone, it slows the game play down bigtime. They also still have not bothered to fix the problem of your own CPU teammates blocking you from entering the attack zone for like the fourth year in a row, and when it comes to getting open for a pass they are dumber than ever. I can't seem to do a normal breakout because instead of getting open along the boards, they all try to get open for a breakout pass at the middle of the blue line, and if I skate in the direction of a CPU teammate, he just stands totally still instead of trying to get open. /rant Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I gotta admit, I haven't played it at all since I bought it last Tuesday. Definitely wont have time to play tonight nor tomorrow and with Gears 3 launching, I'm picking that up. No, I play Kovy at the left D on the first PP and it works fine. I know that last year when you simmed, it would give you retarded stats, i.e. guys who are not on either PP getting PP goals. They said they "fixed" the sim engine this year, which I was skeptical of, but it seems to work a lot better at giving you reasonable, logical stats.
