LizDevil30
Deja vous. I posted this in the victory celebration thread. I prefer a nighttime party but we'll have a blast anyhow.

Jimmy Leeds
Is there gonna be beer there?
Lady Stanley
Jimmy, If it's like the one in 2000, yes there will be beer. What they did was bring all of the portable vending carts (the same ones you see on the CAA concourse during games) out into the parking lot, oops, I mean party area. I think same (high) prices as at games. They also had lots of food vendors. There are merchandise tables too. The atmosphere was alot of fun. They had a "fan fest" area with an inflatable attraction where you can take slap shots on "Marty" and see how fast you scored, a rink set up where they played some roller hockey games, companies and radio stations were giving out stuff and broadcasting live from the party, they handed out alot of extra stuff from the Playoff games....towels, pom poms, etc. Kids were using the plastic garbage barrels as goals and playing roller hockey in the parking lot. Live music, lots of fun. Nice to see the guys come on stage with their families and speak at the podium. All in all a good time for devs fans! Manhattan Devil
Can't make it this time. ANyone know if it will be televised? Yeah, I heard it's going to be on ABC at 1:00 pm. It was on the news last evening here in NYC. I assume it'll be on in NJ's ABC too.
hockeygal109
Do all the players ususally show up, or do they decide in advance based on who will be around?

Zamode
Great, at least it will be televised since I cannot go. I hope there isn't rain tomorrow!
NJDF
I was thinking about how other fans make fun of the Devils b/c their Cup celebration is in a parking lot.....then I thought how stupid that sounds. We've won the Cup 3 times in the past 9 years...who but the Wings fans would have any other say about what is the right way to celebrate the Stanley Cup???? Really when was the last time a Flyer, Leaf, or any other fans (save Aves or Detroit) has had a Cup celebration??? It's laughable!! Parade...what a joke!! Give me the lot party!! GO DEVILS!!! David Puddy
Does NJ even have an ABC affiliate? Thought we just got Philly and NY ABCs.
eldon
Hey Puddy, TBS just played the Face Painter episode, starring you from 7-7:30. Maybe it will be on channel 5 in the next day or two. "Gotta support the team."

peteyvegas
Has anyone ever gone to a parade on B'way? There's a million people there and confetti all over the place. That's great!!! But the players go down B'way to the park and it's over!! We're talking about a festival with beer and food and booths for games and prizes and ROOM. As wonderful and exhilerating as B'way is, you're crushed. Guys, dont downplay this "Street Fair" it's great!!
