Here's a thread to discuss music in general. 70s', 80's, rap, pop, "new" stuff or whatever. The 90's music thread seem to specific for anyone wanting to share music that wasn't during that era. I'll start with a lot of different stuff..

DCFC. Epic intro. Epic video.

Pepperkorn!

When 101.1 CBS-FM plays "Midnight Confessions" I don't touch the dial.

Here's a message to the musical acts of today. GET SOME BRASS IN THOSE ARRANGEMENTS! I am a fan of Chicago and Blood Sweat and Tears from the late 1960s because it's great upbeat music with a kick-ass horn section.

I listen to a ton of music genres and I'm always looking to listen to genres I'm not familiar with. I've been getting into a lot of acid house lately, artists like A Guy Called Gerald, Phuture, and 808 State.

Acid house, it's plain and it's simple. Pump up the bass, and raise up the treble.

My formative music tastes... I was both thrilled and horrified at Kate Bush's lack of embarrassment. I also taught myself to play this one on the piano :giggle: and Wuthering Heights too....

New music????!!! Oh, all right. I love nostalgia, though ... to a fault. But here's something relatively new (maybe a year old?) that I cannot get enough of.

Not sure how many people are interested in Childish Gambino, but his reworking of Kanye's "All of the Lights" is phenomenal.

Holy crap that's a soft focus. I only know the big Kate Bush songs but I like them quite a bit.

In honor of the Prince concert I went to earlier this year, some of his proteges
