There's approximately 17 NHL players there between yesterday and today filming commercials, including Parise.

Pay homage to the INCREDIBLE scoring goalie!!!! :-)

I saw CRASHER trip a kid on skates and then he stole the kids lunch money and slapped his mom when she came to pick him up.. All because the kid looked at his crease

CRASHER's official list of high stick victims from this forum:
gionta182, devilsfan26 .... WHO'S NEXT??

2005 Fantasy Football League Champion... Bow to my Football knowledge !!!!!!

2003-04 NJDevs.com winner of the Masterton Award for Dedication to the Devils(still proud of that one !)

4, Four (!?!?) Time (2005-2008) NJDevs.com winner of the Whoever the damn Award for the funniest poster in the land is named after...(geesh... post pressure, but I seem ok with it!)
TWO TIME (2005, 2006) Award Winner and the man who can show Jeremy Roenick what a REAL loudmouth is all about.... hell this mouth roars SO loud, they retired the DAMN AWARD!!!! But how do you be emotional about an award for being most emotional when you're sharing it?

2008 NJDevs Stanley Cup Winner for best overall poster... where's my damn ring?

June 6, 2007... the NHL dies just a little bit.....
.. April 20, 2008...it gets a little better :)

"The $297,297 Kovalchuk missed today is money he will never, ever get back. And the more cheques he misses, the better the deal is going to have to be for the players to justify him sitting out. And unlike the owners, the players can direct their leadership to get a deal done regardless of how disadvantageous it is to them."

im not totally off the roof(now I know Parise was in it).

NHL superstars filming a commercial IN NJ..AT the Rock...and no Devils in it? You make the excuse of no superstars or legends(Marty, Kovalchuk, Parise).

but now i know parise was in it.

I'm pretty thin-skinned with NHL matters, but to get upset about this seems pretty damn ridiculous..

After one day at the NHL's annual Player Media Tour, 34 different players from 28 different teams have made rounds with the media both at the League's offices in midtown Manhattan and at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

In Newark, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane were some of the players who sat down for interviews with NBC, while several others filmed promos for NHL Network.

On Friday, the media tour will wrap up with the players who spent Thursday in Newark switching places with those in New York City. As those players continue to run through the media gauntlet tomorrow, so will NHL.com. Be sure to come back Friday for even more comprehensive coverage as well as up to the minute updates from our Player Media Tour blog.

The spot sounds like a promo about the next generation of hockey stars, Brodeur is the old generation and Kovy is not a star player outside of Newark. MSG is undoing construction so the Rock is the next best place, which is great.

What money exactly do the Devils or Newark get out of this?

I thought Devils and the city own the rink - you have to rent space to film... Maybe the Devils would donate the space...ya think? or maybe the NHL would name the space to film to bring some revenue to the club... I'm just sayin'
