I like watching this team play. I know they're overshadowed, as always, by the Rangers across the river, but for my money, few teams are more fun to watch than the Devils.

They are indeed fun to watch now.
Last time I felt this way (and so did the idiots on ESPN) was back in the 08-09 season.

Wow the devils are fun to watch! Never in a million years would I have thought they could be. The devils and fun just never go together.

The highest I have seen any publication rank us right now has been #12 in the EAST. We are not a very talented team.
USA Today has us dead last in the Atlantic.

i really appreciated manta's opinion and insight on the devils and the game in general. it's really a shame that manta decided to disappear because kovalchuk turned into the player he though he never could be. manta, own up to the fact that you were wrong and come back to us.

Burnside also offers up further proof that he's been skipping his meds by saying the Devils have a shot to win the Atlantic (as well as everybody else in the Division, to be fair):
Burnside was also idiotic enough to think that the question I posed (that he answered) was genuine, despite it being an obvious goof (look at the wording alone):
Ah, good ol' Burnside...always good for some laughs. I hope he never goes away...
Seems like Burnside was pretty right in his answers there. I mean and I hate him as much as the next guy. Without the forwards Larsson would def be a Calder favorite.
